Reveal of SS501 music video filming – Part 2. Twining of Fate
Lonely killers chasing and being chased…
The return of the 5 men.
Male group SS501 who were doing solo activities, came back together for their blockbuster-like music video. Members Kim HyunJoong, Kim KyuJong, Heo YoungSaeng, Park JungMin, Kim HyungJoon will be releasing their solo songs from the collection album to be released mid of this month.
The most special thing about this is that this is the first time since their debut to have a 20 minutes drama-like music video. Kim HyunJoong and Park JungMin appear as a cold-blooded killer, pointing their guns at each other for the woman they love. The drama was made even more intense with Kim KyuJong appearing as another killer. Heo YoungSaeng and Kim HyungJoon also appeared in the music drama.
Sportshankook will cover the music drama filming, which was done with high production cost and filmed over 1 week’s time, in 2 issues. This 2nd issue “Twining of Fate” shows the moment where the 3 killers chase and are being chased to a place and explodes their feelings of accumulated anger. Well, let us take a look at the exquisite sense and extreme actions of acting from the irresistible ‘actors’ SS501.
#1 The look of a beast
Cold-blooded killer Kim HyunJoong takes his gun and jumps off swiftly. This is the moment when he suddenly changes to a ‘beast’ look from his ‘Flower Boy’ appearance. This music video filming was done on the last week of May, with commercial filming and music video filming overlapping each other, Kim HyunJoong had to deal with his awfully busy schedules. This scene was filmed after 3 sleepless nights. He still managed to bring out the sharp look of his eyes.
#2 The moment of battle
Killer Kim HyunJoong arrives at the venue in order finish his mission to kill someone. A confused expression and heavy breathing were seen from him. This scene was done in an underground car park in Seoul , the filming started late at night and lasted till break of dawn. Owning to the damp and impure air, Kim HyunJoong encouraged the staff, showing a matured side of himself.
#3 Fear of Action
This is an action scene where 3 killers came together at one place. A lot of time were used to put together the wirings beforehand for this scene of furious fight. After the assembling in difficulties, one producer said “Isn’t this fear of action getting too much?” making the people broke into laughter.
#4 Fate intersect
The 3 killers pointed each other with their guns. Making a strange triangle-relationship and at the same time, erupting with complications. However, something is quite awkward. Before the filming started, Kim HyunJoong and Park JungMin were still in a dazed expression. And was immediately being ordered to “let’s pay attention”.
#5 We are also lead actors
Heo YoungSaeng and Kim HyungJoon also appeared in the music video. They appear in the music video with scenes of themselves singing their solo songs. This is considered a kind of fan service. The 2 of them filmed with serious expressions no less better than the rest of the members, thus received applause from them. We see their sense of loyalty when they supported the other members at the filming scene even when they’re not appearing in that scene.
#6 We are one
The 5 members, who appeared in the music video, gathered together to watch the last scene through the monitor. Magnae Kim HyungJoon is the one to close the busy 1 week filming. The rest of the members imitated Kim HyungJoon’s dance steps making the producers burst into laughter. |
