BEAST’s “Bad Girl” ranks first on Japan’s ‘Recochoku’
After achieving top album sales for the month of May with their “Fiction and Fact“ comeback, B2ST has done it again, but this time in Japan! The boys ranked first place on Japan’s biggest mobile site, ‘Recochoku‘, with their second Japanese single, “Bad Girl“.
B2ST already tucked away a prior achievement ranking as the first ever Korean artist to place first on ‘Recochoku’ with “Shock” back in March.
A representative of the Japanese music industry commented, “B2ST has ranked first twice in a row on ‘Recochoku’, which is a large-scale mobile site with over 30 prestigious Japanese record companies participating. Every time B2ST releases a new song, the standards in ‘Recochoku’ are being shaken. There is much anticipation being placed on their future activities.”
B2ST also added, “It was our 600th day yesterday, and we feel as if we’re receiving such a huge gift after winning #1 on a Korean music program, and receiving so much love from Japan. Thank you so much. We feel that our only way of repaying our fans’ love is to show an even better image on stage.”

Yoseob from the group BEAST will be leaving KBS ‘Immortal Song 2 – Sing the Legends’. Kwon Jaeyoung PD of ‘Immortal Song 2’ commented, “BEAST’s Yoseob will be leaving the program to the issues with oversea promotions. He was very sad about leaving as well. In addition he added that later when his schedules are in better conditions he might have the urge to join again.” Yoseob had participated in the recording to reinterpret a legendary song on the 6th, and along with Super Junior’s Yesung and SHINee’s Jonghyun, he will be leaving the program as well.
Filling up Yoseob’s spot in the program will be MBLAQ’s G.O. Kwon Jaeyoung PD stated his reason for adding him by saying, “Even though G.O has not been shined on for his singing as much, he is a hard worker who the other artists should fear.” Starting the recording on the 13th, MBLAQ’s G.O, 2PM’s Junsu, FT Island’s Hongki, Secret’s Jieun, 2AM’s Changmin, and Sistar’s Hyorin will be participating.
According to the idol’s schedules, ‘Immortal Song 2’ plans to have many more idols participating on stage. Kwon Jaeyoung PD revealed, “ We are sorting through the schedules so that f(x)’s Luna, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, 2AM’s Jokwon, CN Blue’s Jung Yonghwa, Miss A’s Min, 4minute’s Jiyoon, Infinite’s Sunggyu, UKISS’s Soohyun, and more can participate.”
Cube Entertainment to hold their first ever “United Cube Concert” in August!
Cube Entertainment has informed allkpop that they’ll be holding their first ever family concert, “United Cube Concert“!
The concert will be held at Jamshil Stadium on August 14th, and will be done under the theme of “Fantasy Land”. Unlike other standard idol concerts, Cube decided to have their concert outdoors in a natural, festival-like environment.
As expected, Cube’s top artists - 4minute, B2ST, and G.NA – will be performing for the event. The label will be opening a teaser site on their official homepage at 2:00 PM KST on June 9th.
