Top star BYJ (31) got angry at the circulation of the profile and photos of his girl friend on the internet.
It was that BYJ was thunderstuck at the detailed exposure of the profile of her and her family on the cyber space since he confidently made clear that he had a girl friend on the homepage.
Within no more than 12 hours following BYJ's posting telling "I got a dear person" about midnight on the 22th, the article of the interview which Miss L (23) made with the regional press and her photos were rapidly spread on the internet portal sites including Daum and My Club, etc. On the internet, her detailed profile of after taking time off from the school of the drama Department in Joongang University, taking a master's course at the London FIlm School in England and the fact that she appeared as a cover model on the magazine which is published by her father were made public in detail.
BYJ, after opening his talk, "I never thought that this kind of things would happen," and expressed his anguish mind saying, "even thougn I think that I could not do anything about some degree of exposure because I am an entertainer, she is an ordinary person. I am sorry these things had happened in the situation that she had not formally debuted as a director of the long films." His explanation was that he is distressed due to the indescreet behavior of some netizens as he only kept his promise with fans that he would make it public when he has a person he likes.
BYJ, saying that he deliberated over it for no less than 8 hours before he had posted it on the homepage, told, "I was able to leave the posting because my girl friend had encourated me a lot. however, my heart is sore at present," and "I wish that there no longer happen any more things which violate the privacy of my girl friend. I will not leave it alone if she gets hurt."

Korean dramas go to Middle East.
Following China and Southeast Asia, Korean drama will also advance to the Arab Region.
A concerned person in the Ministry of Diplomacy told on 7th, "we are planning to distribute the Korean drama 'Hotelier' to over 10 Middle Eastern countries including Iraq in order to step up the cultural diplomacy toward the Arab region," and "we are making contact withe broadcasting stations in each country through the local diplomatic offices."
This person said, "Already we have obtained a consent from the Jordan and many countries are showing interest," and "we have bought the copyright and are dubbing in the Arabic so that it could be broadcast in the first half of the year."
The Ministry of Diplomacy has collected the opinion from the diplomatic offices abroad after they selected several candidates including 'Story of Four Sisters', etc.
Among the candidate dramas, the diplomatic offices abroad are known to give the most generous marks to 'Hotelier' which had received the big responses as it had already broadcast in the Southeast Asian Muslim region. The storm of BYJ (31) syndrome is raging in the Japanese Isles.
BYJ introduced his face to the Japanese people as the K2TV mini-series 'WLS' where he appeared with Choi Jiwoo was broadcast on a satellite channel of Japanese public station NHK from the April last year. Since then, putting together the touching story of the drama and the princely style look of BYJ, he has been rapidly creating the layers of fans.
Already over 13,000 opinions in combination of telephone calls and e-mail flooded into NHK regarding the 'WLS,' and over 100,000 DVDs and videotapes were sold. The original novel is making a big hit as it records over 360,000 sales for both parts.
In addition the Korean tour package related to the shooting locations of the 'WLS' are sold like pancakes. In the fall last year, the 'Meet BYJ tour' arranged by a tour company had gone over the capacity of 1,000 and the additional application for the 500 people was closed in only 3 days.
The NHK is examining to rerun the 'WLS' on the ground wave general TV station from the coming Spring season change in the April to make the best out of those 'BYJ fever.' As it is anticipated that once it is broadcast on the general station, the PR effect will not be comparable to when it was on the satellite channel, the "captivating the Japanese fans' on the TV screen would be likely to reach its peak.
The 'BYJ syndrome' is further burning hot along with the Japanese premier of his debut movie 'Scandal-The Love Story of Men & Women in Chosun.' Regardiing the 'Scandal, which made a big hit domestically, its Japanese distribution right was won by the Cinecanon, following 'Shiri' and 'Joint Security Area, JSA' and it release is aimed at the coming summer. A people in this distribution company said that "We are planning to invite BYJ in time for the release of the 'Scandal.'" Although BYJ received the invitation to visit Japan when the 'WLS' was rerun on the satellite channel in the last Decenbeer, it was told that he declined it because of his busy schedule.

BYJ will visit Japan, Hong Kong, etc in order to do the public relations for the movie 'Scandal-The Love Story of Men & Women in Chosun' which is to open in the Southeast Asain region including Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc. in coming March.
Having become a topic of conversation as it mobilized over 3.5 million nation-wide audience as it was released domestically iin the October last year, the movie 'Scandal' is also the work which over 840 BYJ fans in Japan visited Korean in a large scale and watched in the end of November. Its right was already sold to Hong Kong at 1.2 million Dollars (about 1.4 billion Won) and BYJ is planning to have a PR activity visiting Japan and Hong Kong, etc. in time for its overseas release.
BYJ's agency said, "Although he had visited many countries, including Indonesia Bali, etc for shooting, he has never once gone to Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, etc." and "Because he receives plentiful love from the overseas fans, he is expecting in his heart."
Along with it, because the KBS 2TV drama 'WLS' led by BYJ with Choi Jiwoo is scheduled to be broadcast on NHK in Japan from the second week in coming April, it seems that the popularity of BYJ in Japan in this spring will reach the climax.
