lagipun, kalo compare vela ngan walcott, bendtner, djourou n song, he's our youngster who had the best loan/ first team experience. walcott mase masuk 1st season xmain langsung while 2nd season is more of a fringe player. season ni baru die involve btul2. bendtner lak before breaking into our 1st team, he was loaned to birmingham and played a pivotal role in their promotion last season. but that was a lower tier. djourou lak main 3bulan je last sizen pastu injed. si song lak was more of a support player previously.
but vela was playing for salamanca n osasuna last season. osasuna was in the la liga and he was in more than half of the overall games for osasuna (aku nengok osasuna men last sizen semata2 sebab vela). and he played against barca, madrid etc..so he faced bigger competition at the so called the best league in europe. that's why wenger's ecstatic to have him back. |

Arsenal and Chelsea are locked in battle over 14-year-old boy wonder Gerard Deulofeu.
Arsene Wenger wants the winger dubbed the "new Ronaldinho", who is on Barcelona's books but has yet to sign trainee forms.
Chelsea are also watching Deulofeu but Barca will be determined to keep him after losing Cesc Fabregas to Arsenal when he was 16

kebanyakan player youngster Arsenal, sebelum diorang break 1st team mesti Wenger kasi loan dulu, kecuali si Wilshere, Walcott, Gibbs, Diaby & Ramsey. kebanyakan player-player muda yang lain pernah di loankan, djorou & bendtner loan kat birmingham, simpson loan kat milwall, alex song loan kat Charlton. Mannone pun pernah loan kat Barnsley. Khabarnya Randall dan Merida pun akan kena loan gak nanti. Gilbert paling banyak kena loan, setiap season dia kena loan, kat Southend, Cardiff dan season ni kat Leicester City. Barazite loan kat Derby County, Pedro kat Salamanca. tapi ada gak yang Arsenal loan dan terus tak balik-balik, si Reyes dan Lupoli.. tapi yang frust Lupoli pindah free je. Aliadiere lak balik jap lepas tu kena jual lak..
mungkin lepas ni Jay Thomas (Mr. Versatile), Ayling, Sanchez Watt, Nordviet, Thomas Cruise, Sunu, Abu Agogo(Tireless), Rene Steer (Next Clichcy), Gibbs, James Dunne, Gavin Hoyte (The Fastest Sprinter) akan break dalam Arsenal 1st team. tapi ambik masa sikit laa kan.. tapi ramai England hot prospect dalam Reserve dan Youth Team Arsenal. si Gavin Hoyte sekarang ni kapten reserve team dan dia dah ada dalam kem Arsenal selama 10 tahun.
sekarang ni si Armand Traore tengah loan kat Portsmouth (kesian aku tengok dia bila Portsmouth kena kenduri dengan Man City hari tuh). |

CESC FABREGAS admits Arsenal’s young guns are giving him sleepless nights.
The Spanish midfielder reckons it will not be long before they are after his first-team spot.
Fab, an Emirates old head at 21, watched in amazement from the stands on Tuesday night as Arsene Wenger’s wonderkids buried Sheffield United 6-0 in the Carling Cup.
And he admits he will have to raise his game in the wake of sensational midfield displays by Jack Wilshere, 16, Aaron Ramsey, 17, and Fran Merida 18.
Fabregas admitted: “I cannot go to sleep as one day or other they will want to play more and more and the manager will want them to play more.
“I will have to be better and better. Wilshere, Ramsey, Merida — they all play in my position. This is great for me. I love competition.
“If the players are so young you can feel your place is too secure.
“So it’s fantastic to have competition — to wake you up and make you a better player.”
Fabregas believes Tuesday’s win was a testament to Wenger’s youth policy. The Euro 2008 winner is set to return to the Gunners midfield for tomorrow’s visit of Hull.
He said: “I was really excited on Tuesday — it was sensational. You can see all the players have ambition, they want to show how good they are.
"It’s not easy in front of 56,000 people when they are playing regular reserve games.
“The manager is the best at giving youngsters a chance. No one comes near to him for that. He’s not scared to play everyone.
“He doesn’t care how old they are. It’s amazing. It’s why we have so many good young players. It’s the club’s policy.
“The loyalty is there when you see that the manager trusts you since you were 15, 16.
“When you see all the teams buying big stars, who knows where the stars of the future are going to come from.
“Maybe they don’t all make it at Arsenal but another team will see them play and they get another chance straight away in the Premier League instead of going to the Second Division.”
Wily Wenger celebrates his 12th anniversary as Arsenal manager on Sunday. And Fab said: “What’s his secret? Work, dedication, discipline, belief in his own mind and methods.
“Great managers like him and Alex Ferguson are special.
“But for what he does with young players, no one compares with Wenger.
“He never shows nerves before a game, he doesn’t put us under any pressure.
“Even if you’re 14 or 15 he always looks relaxed to you and instils confidence in you.”
It has been more than three years since Wenger won a trophy but Fab insists it does not matter if you play like Arsenal.
He said: “ People can say ‘They will never win’ but it’s not in my mind. I’ll never think we won’t win anything.
“But sometimes when you feel so good during the game and play the game you enjoy so much, even if you haven’t won anything in the last three seasons, I have felt so good, so free. I enjoy it so much.
Of course you want to win but when you have this recompense inside that you are playing so well maybe it’s much better than to be in another team that wins trophies but you don’t enjoy it so much.” |

Anelka praises Arsenal’s playing style
FORMER Arsenal striker Nicolas Anelka has praised his old club for its ‘extraordinary football’ that has seen them usurp his current employers at Chelsea to go top of the table.
The France international, who scored a number of key goals in the Gunners‘ double-winning season of 1998, hailed Arsene Wenger as a ‘super boss‘ although he questioned whether Arsenal‘s manager‘s persistence with youth is responsible for their four-year trophy drought.
“Arsenal are leaders with style, after our draw (against Manchester United),” Anelka told Les Dessous du Sport. “We are used to watching them play like this. They have always played extraordinary football.
“They have a super coach who knows how to get the best from his players but winning titles proves to be hard for him.
“It must be due to the youth - they start at a very high level, and the one who knows who is going to win the league is a very clever man.”
