Owhh.. Tapi nengok lagaknya depa la yg eksen kat floor patient selalunya.. Sbb bukan sng nk jmp doc iyer dak..
Lain kali kalo jmp doc eksen kt spital bolehla aku bahankan depa mana tau kantoi yg depa tu HO jer huhu...

Otak geliga tak semestinya have good hands.
Good hands ni mostly born that way. Speed agility and a sound mind for decision making under great duress ni is a godgiven talent. Sebab tu ramai jugak surgeons yg ada god complex. They may or may not be the best students at med school tapi many are real warriors. Surgical training ni bak training commando. |

I do agree ramai jugak HO yg eksyen semacam. Akak pun pernah kena. Nak sembur fragile psyche la pulak katang bunuh diri. Mesti jugak ingat some of them org berada tetiba kena kerja tahap amoeba...kasihannnn lol. Kat pesakit jerla nak tunjuk gah pun. Kesianla sikit kan. |

Aku ada kawan buat medic kat romania tapi bukan malaysian lah. Swedes. Sana susah nak buat medic so mostly swedes ni gi eastern eu buat medic. Sana syllabus dlm english tapi praktikal jumpa patient kena cari somebody yg tahu translate kan romanian ke english. So dorang mmg tak belajar pun bahasa romania. Takde masalah bila praktikal |

maybe sakit demam bleh sembuh lagik cepat dr doc yg x brapa fluent enggeris

Maknanya HO ni byk komunikasi dgn staff/specialists berbanding pesakit la? So mungkin itu yg dimaksudkan bila mereka kata BI teruk susah dpt kerja sbb masalah komunikasi dgn staff/specialists berbilang bangsa...

Inggeris masalah kecil, kata persatuan perubatan
Persatuan Perubatan Malaysia (MMA) menafikan masalah bahasa menjadi faktor utama lebih 1,000 graduan tercicir daripada bidang itu walaupun sudah selesai dua tahun latihan di hospital awam.
Presidennya Dr Ashok Philip berkata dakwaan Presiden MMA Melaka Prof Dr M Nachiappan berkaitan perkara itu hanya pandangan peribadi.
Ashak berkata faktor utama sebenarnya berkaitan kurangnya minat dalam bidang perubatan selain tekanan kerja.
“Banyak doktor pelatih belajar di negara yang bahasa Inggeris bukan bahasa utama, jadi saya percaya mereka boleh menguruskan masalah kecil berkaitan bahasa Inggeris,” kata Philip dalam kenyataan kepada Malaysiakini.
Nachiappan dilaporkan berkata graduan perubatan yang tamat latihan di hospital awam tidak lagi berminat meneruskan kerjaya kerana kekangan bahasa.
Nachiappan berkata kurangnya penguasaan bahasa Inggeris menjadi penghalang serius kepada pelajar perubatan, terutamanya untuk bersaing dengan negara luar.
Masalah itu, katanya, menjejaskan pelajar perubatan, termasuk di peringkat kolej kerana banyak rujukan perubatan selain kuliah universiti menggunakan bahasa Inggeris.
Nachiappan bagaimanapun membangkitkan faktor lain seperti kurang minat dalam latihan asas perubatan, lemah kemahiran komunikasi dengan pesakit serta kecewa dengan keadaan kerja.

Nasib la bahasa kampungan lagi hauk jadi bahasa kebangsaan.
Bahasa melayu mmg sesuai pakai untuk kasi sentap dan meghoyan je....tu lah level BM sebenarnye

Do you know we have 33 (thirty three!) medical schools in Malaysia
... for mass production of doctors?
ACTUAL SENTENCES FOUND ON PATIENTS' HOSPITAL CHARTS:
1) She has no rigors or shaking chills, but her husband states she was hot in bed last night.
2) Patient has chest pain if she lies on her left side for over a year.
3) On the second day the knee was better, and on the third day it disappeared. !!
4) The patient is tearful and crying constantly. She also appears to be depressed.
5) The patient has been depressed since she began seeing me in 1993.
6) Discharge status: Alive but without my permission.
7) Healthy appearing decrepit 69 year old male, mentally alert but forgetful.
8) The patient refused autopsy.
9) The patient has no previous history of suicides.
10) Patient has left white blood cells at another hospital.
11) Patient's medical history has been remarkably insignificant with only a 40 pound weight gain in the past 3 days.
12) Patient had waffles for breakfast and anorexia for lunch.
13) Between you and me, we ought to be able to get this lady pregnant.
14) Since she can't get pregnant with her husband, I thought you might want to work her up.
15) She is numb from her toes down. !!!!!!!!!!
16) While in ER, she was examined, X-rated and sent home.
17) The skin was moist and dry.
18) Occasional, constant, infrequent headaches.
19) Patient was alert and unresponsive.
20) Rectal examination revealed a normal sized thyroid.
21) She stated that she had been constipated for most of her life, until she got a divorce.
22) I saw your patient today, who is still under our car for physical therapy.
23) Both breasts are equal and reactive to light and accommodation.
24) Examination of genitalia reveals that he is circus sized.
25) The lab test indicated abnormal lover function.
26) The patient was to have a bowel resection. However, he took a job as a stockbroker instead.
27) Skin: somewhat pale but present.
28) The pelvic exam will be done later on the floor. !!
29) Patient was seen in consultation by Dr Blank, who felt we should sit on the abdomen and I agree.
30) Large brown stool ambulating in the hall.
31) Patient has two teenage children, but no other abnormalities.
