Case against Pooja's 'Rog'

The Mumbai Police has registered a case against film actor- turned- producer Pooja Bhatt. However, she says she is not bothered about it. The controversy has arisen from the posters of her latest release, 'Rog'. A college professor Pratibha Naitthani has filed a complaint against two "provoking and indecent" posters of 'Rog'. However, Pooja has hit back saying she has not violated any law. "Since 'Rog' has officially released in the theatres, its poster or even a CD cover has the approval of the Censor Board." The college professor has named both the producer Sujit Kumar and the distributor Rehmat Enterprises in his complaint.

SRK as ghost

Shah Rukh Khan has agreed to play a ghost in his forthcoming home production. Amol Palekar will direct the movie. Shah Rukh says that this is a good story as narrated to him by Amol. Shah Rukh plays a double role. The film is yet to be titled. In one of the roles he plays Rani Mukherjee's husband, and in the other he is cast as a ghost.

Movie through sister

Priyanka Chopra is stated to have bagged a film through her sister. The non-filmi sister canvassed for her filmi sister with Hrithik Roshan's sister Sunayana, who is a fast friend of Priyanka's sister. Sunayana spoke to her dear papa Rakesh Roshan to sign Priyanka Chopra for his 'Koi Mil Gaya -II'. Papa took no time in agreeing to her daughter's proposal. Thus, Priyanka bagged Rakesh Roshan's prestigious movie.

Ajay too busy to hear gossips

Ajay Devgan is too much occupied in his professional work these days. He is busy throughout the week, meaning all the seven days and that too in shooting. He has several movies on hand, and has to complete them. In such a tight time schedule, he gets angry on trivial things, especially from the media. If a question is asked about Shah Rukh Khan vis-୶is Kajol, he gets furious. At a recent party a scribe asked Ajay if he was offered to act in 'Veer Zaara' opposite Shah Rukh Khan. This role was later played by Manoj Bajpai. This angered Ajay. Later, the scribe asked him if he had watched Karan Johar's TV show on Kajol and Shah Rukh. This made Ajay Devgan more furious. One should guess the reaction of Ajay Devgan, who is known as an action hero of Bollywood.

Aamir to act opposite Rushdie's wife

Aamir Khan will play opposite Padma Lakshmi in a film written by famous author Salman Rushdie. Rushdie is adapting his story into screenplay by the middle of this year. This is to recall that Padma Lakshmi is Rushdie's wife, and will produce the film. Salman and Padma have approached Aamir Khan to play the male lead. The film is the story of love-hate relationship between a young woman (Padma) and an elderly man (likely Aamir).

Bipasha changes sexy image

While some actresses are changing their attitude and following the new trend of enacting bold scenes in movies to meet the audience demand, there are few who have realized that their sexy image has rather bored the viewers and they have therefore turned back to the old trend. The case of sex bomb Bipasha Basu is noteworthy. She was one who led bold and sexy trend in Hindi movies. Others in Bollywood followed her. Bipasha is reversing the trend by changing her sexy image in her latest movies like 'Aitbaar' and 'Madhoshi' where she doesn't appear in her earlier image.

Rani has no marriage plan

Rani Mukherjee who is usually calm and cool turned furious when she was asked about her marriage with junior B. She blasted that section of the media, which had published news of her relationship with Govinda a year ago and about her marriage with Abhishek Bachchan now. She said this during her recent promotional interaction with the media about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Black'. Rani also made it clear that she would be busy for the next two years in her professional work, and therefore couldn't think of marriage until then.

Tabu denies hot scenes

The 'Chandni Bar 'girl Tabu, who is stated to have declined several offers of the directors, has accepted to act in two movies. One of these movies is 'Silsile-Affairs of The Heart' starring Bhumika Chawla. She was recently seen shooting a scene in Mumbai along with three new dancers-Mahima, Urvashi and Mubina. According to industry circles, Tabu known for her arty roles has, however, enacted some bold scenes too. Tabu has though denied it completely. During her talk with the media she said that she got an opportunity to play a new role in this movie. Regarding hot scenes, she reiterated, " I have nothing to do if there is a hot scene in this movie with any other girl."

Kim's b'day without Yuvaraj

Kim Sharma is very excited these days as her first film of this year 'Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav' will be screened soon. She is expecting this as her birthday gift. However, she is not celebrating her birthday this year because of tsunami tragedy. But, she will hold a small get together dinner at her flat for close friends. Surprisingly, she may not meet her boyfriend star cricketer Yuvraj Singh on her birthday. As is well known that Yuvaraj has broken his relations with Kim because of the latter's presence in late night parties. Incidentally, Yuvaraj was recently seen visiting a nightclub in Mumbai where he found Nauheed Cyrusi of the 'Piya Basanti (music video)' fame dancing on the floor. As soon as Nauheed saw Yuvaraj, she jumped at him and cried, "Prince Yuvaraj - Prince Yuvaraj". This shows that Yuvraj has got another girlfriend now.

Rituparno delays Big B's movie

Rituparno Ghosh's next starring Big B will be delayed by six more months. The movie was scheduled to start in early March this year. The reason for the delay is preoccupation of Big B with his earlier commitments. Meanwhile, Rituparno has replanned his schedule without Amitabh. He has another story and script, which will cast Aishwarya Rai and Shabana Azmi with Abhishek. Ghosh says the movie will be completely shot in Kolkatta.

Aish or Sush to do dance number

Pop singer Alisha Chinoy will sing a qawwali in Shaad Ali's forthcoming movie 'Bunty Aur Babli' starring Big and Junior Bachchan. Gulzar will write its lyrics and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will compose the music. Interestingly, there will be a guest star - either Aishwarya Rai or Sushmita Sen -- to do an item song picturized on one of them.

Sameera makes Kajol tense

Sameera Reddy is creating tension for Kajol since Ajay Devgan is stated to have got very thick with Samera during their shoot in Anees Bazmi's 'Benaam'. Earlier, Kajol was angry on her husband due to the latter's fancy for Aishwarya Rai. In fact, Kajol gets tense whenever Ajay goes for outdoor shoot. Sometime she reaches there to have a vigil over her husband. This is despite the fact that Ajay is said to be a loyal husband unlike his other Bollywood colleagues.

Why SRK crazy to marry his son?

These days top star Shah Rukh Khan has turned crazy to develop relations among star families. Recently, he tried to marry his son Aryan with his yesteryears' lovebird Kajol's daughter Nyasa despite his not very sweet relations with Ajay Devgan, the husband of Kajol. Earlier, he had thought of marrying his son to Madhuri Dixit's daughter. However, his hopes were dashed to the ground as Madhuri gave birth to a son. Why is he in such a hurry though his son is too young? Maybe SRK wants to get his son wedded into a Hindu family. After all, he married with Gauri, a Hindu girl!

Bobby Deol growing long hair

Bobby Deol, the hero of Vikram Bhatt's 'Zurm starring Lara Dutta, loves to grow long hair though he trimmed them short to suit a particular character in a movie. He told us that he is busy in shooting in Suneel Darshan's forthcoming movie 'Barsaat. Regarding 'Zurm' he said that the movie would be released in the middle of next month.

Lara Dutta finds the role too tough to essay as the pulse of 'Zurm' moves from a breezy love story to an intense thriller. This is to remind that Lara acts as Bobby Deol's wife in the movie, and is suddenly murdered. Anyway, she should know that the title of the story is clear inasmuch as it is ' Zurm-Once Upon A Crime'.

Sanjay Dutt shoots in one go

Sanjay Dutt has surprised the film industry by giving 25 days for shooting in one go for Anubhav Sinha's 'Tathastu' (So be it). Thus, Sinha has completed Sanjay's role in the movie. When asked Sanjay said that he was so much impressed by the story that he decided to do it as fast as possible. Yes, it's a record in Sanjay's filmi career though he treated 'Munnabhai MBBS' the same way.

Hrithik Roshan married his lovebird Suzen Khan soon after the success of his film 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' and broke hearts of many girls in and outside India. Will Suzen's brother follow in the footsteps of his brother-in-law by marrying his girlfriend Mallika. Zayed has a hit like 'Main Hoon Naa' to his credit though his 'Vaada' flopped like his another movie.
