ok, nak update sikit about my trip to SG last week.
we stayed in JB, kat naza hotel, 3 days 2 nites. spent two days in SG.
1st day, it was a sunday, we drove from JB to SG towards the CBD (central business district). kat SG ni susah (or takde jual) nak cari map yang besar berlipat tu, yang ada street directory aje yang macam buku tu. dinasihatkan those yang nak drive kat SG & rasa2 perlu map tu, beli kat JB better. we bought a big map tapi a bit outdated sebab printed in 2003, kat popular bookstore, cost us $9.80.
drove towards orchard. went to lucky plaza, makan kat ayam penyet ria ($6.50 per ayam penyet set), total spent for lunch there 2 adults & 2 children was $23.30. parking at lucky plaza was $4.70 (tak ingat how many hours, dalam 2 hrs plus kot).
then drove around CBD, drove around marina, then ke jurong, then petang sikit hujan dah berhenti, singgah singapore flyers, parking kena $2.10. just took pictures aje, tak naik, per trip (adult) is $22.90, so memang tak plan nak naik lah. hari tu dah naik eye on malaysia kena rm10 for malaysians. tapi singapore flyers ni besar lahgondola nya, can fit 12 people, whereas eye on msia can only fit like 4-5 people kot, kira cukup kami satu family. also, SG flyers ni, tempat nya ada class lah, building nya, platforms dia.. so unlike our eye on malaysia, sempoi je.. jadi, tak boleh nak complain pasal the fare is higher, since nak maintain the area pun kena ambil kira.
after that for dinner we ate at zamzam, cost us $21.40. then balik JB, sampai 10pm.
esok pagi terus checked out hotel, drove to harbourfront, parked there ($4.83 tak silap) for few hours, naik cable car ke sentosa (total $53.30 for 2 adults & 1 child). kat sentosa naik shuttle dia, just stopped at palawan beach (ada dolphin lagoon there, tapi tak masuk, lagipun bukan the right time masa tu, the show was at 3.30pm, kena tunggu if nak masuk), then stopped at underwater world, took pictures je.
after penat ambil gambar, naik cable car balik. singgah kiosk kat harboufront beli fridge magnets, $2 each. pics of the magnets macam kat bawah ni.
total spent for the trip to SG including accommodation, transportation (fuel & parking), food, everything lah, for 3 days 2 nites was RM1K. the only things we bought kat SG selain food were the fridge magnets & the map memang budget punya trip.

forgot to add, siapa2 nak pergi lucky plaza hari ahad, please be prepared to greet a huge crowd there, i cannot think of any place here yang ada manusia seramai tu.. oh well.. maybe during JCARD member day or isetansale or ikea sale lah kot? 
hari ahad hari pelepasan domestic workers, so the whole of lucky plaza sesak dengan mostly filipinos & some indonesians. ada lah other people macam kita (chinese, mat salehs, malays) yang pergi tempat tu, tapi dalam 1% kot, others are mostly domestic workers gathering there.
nak jalan pun payah, & very noisy, if you want to talk, kena raise your volume sikit
we have only 1 stroller, our eldest malas jalan so dia duduk dalam tu, si adik nak jalan, nasib baik before keluarkereta i've decided to put safety harness on him, else, boleh hilang dalam crowd  sebab dia ni active.
sepanjang2 naik elevator kaca from 7th floor to ground, penuh manusia dari tingkat atas sampai lah ke bawah, i still find it bizarre... he he |

kalau nak ambik gambar gambar buildings and skyline, try the CBD (Central Business District Area - Raffles Place MRT Station, Boat Quay, Fullerton Hotel). If you're looking to capture urban shots of sg, ngan orang orang nye sekali, lunctime is super crowded and very typical sg CBD scene.. pastu, next to raffles place (linked to Boat Quay), banyak mak salleh selalu duduk facing the river makan sandwich and your backdrop is the tall buildings and skyline.. so quite nice and they have artistic sculptures littering around the area.. if you're in the area, you should try the famous teh tarik at the Mr Teh Taril Stall, small shop at China Square (makan area in CBD). the teh tarik (SGD$1) is power!!!!
Opp side of the river (boleh cross the pedestrian bridge) is the old theatres and arts house. some outdoor cafes as well.. quite nice to chill and ambik gambar. at nite, the cafes/bars usually have live music and is quite happening.
pastu malam, gi plak orchard rd! sekarang kan tengah xmas season, jadi banyak lah lampu lapu decorations.. cuma orang semua tengah holiday mood jadi, suma keluar kat malam.. jalan pun sesak.. human jam! start from wheelock place - (kat Borders Bookstore) and go past Tangs, Ngee Ann City, Paragon all the way sampai Raffles City atau Plaza Singapura. very colourful. |

kengkawan...nak mintak nasihat sket...i ngan my friends girl nak p singapore rabu nie sampai sabtu tapi masalah problemnyer tadi dok call hostel and backpacker hostel sumer dah fully book. and kalau ader pun tarik 24 ngan 26 jer yang ader tu pun yang dorm mix... so nak tanya pendapat u all la saper yang pernah try mix dorm tuh...ok ker tak??? selamat ker tak??? bukan aper...budject ciput utk hotel neh tapi gatal gak nk p singapore...... |

hi all...just got back from singapore
selama 6 malam kat sana ...i duk kat royal plaza on scots, sebelah geleria dekat saja dgn orchard road yg famous amos tu....hotel wise, tak berapa family/child friendly w/pun mahal...in fact pool for kids pun tarakk....
overall mahal kat singapore nie, makan pun tak byk pilihan tapi tak susah utk dapatkan halal food...i cuba gaklah ayam penyet tu kat lucky plaza, cuma ayam goreng yg dipenyetkan...cuma seronok jamu mata kat orchard road, satu yg i perasan mall kat sini memang extravagance in selling branded stuff like handbag, watches....cuma jamu mata sajalah, kekekek
i cuba gak chili crab kat boat quay, mak aiii ...mahalnya, i kena dlm SGD138 utk crab tu, huhuuhu...dinner malam tu saja dm SGD240....
nanti samb lagi |

i singgah gak kat mustafa centre...cam standard mydin kat sini, byk barang at reasonable price...dr hotel tambang dlm SGD12 dan balik ....
kalo ronda2 kat orchard mesti singgah takashimaya yg sgt besar itew....window shopping memang besshhh, barang kat situ semuanya branded dan mahal lah w/pun ada discount....
malam ke-4 rasanya, kami berkesempatan pergi jengah night safari....anak2 seronok sgt tgk harimau tapi semuanya cam ngantuk saja ...animal show pun kami sempat gak tgk....kalo sesapa pernah sampai kat a famosa safari, rasanya famosa punya lagi happening drp kat sini....even animal show pun sikit sgt dan tak byk aktiviti...
sentosa tak pergi sebab hubby memang sibuk ssgt dgn kursus dia....nak jalan sendiri dgn anak2 nie...huhuhu, jalan kat orchard road pun depa dah merengek nak balik hotel sebab penat...so to kill the time, we all melayan tgk movie kat cinema sebelah hotel nie ....3 movies dlm masa 2 hari...hahaha |

my personal view on this trip....3-4 nites would be nice, more than that....huhuhuhu
my fren kata singapore macam swiss, so maybe my expectation is quite high when i got there....antaranya, city centre tak berapa child friendly susah nak cari ramp to stroll a kid....masa kat taxi stand, ramai sgt org beratur tunggu giliran nak naik teksi....adalah gaklah geng2 yg ambik short cut takyah beratur dan teksi plak tak kisah...main henti kat mana2 yg ada org yg nak naik....
dan masa balik dr boat quay, kami tunggu teksi sampai 15 min bukan sebab takde taxi tapi driver taknak bawak tempat yg kita nak pergi....siap display destinasi yg DIA NAK PERGI, hubby kata even taxi driver kat beijing pun tak seteruk nie ...
masa nak balik, kami ikut link 2 ...kami buang masa menunggu selama 3 jam utk lepas kat 2 check point tu....rasa serik nak gi lagi ... |

hu..hu..not child frinendlly? i was thinking to bring along 2 stroller for both of my son( sian yg teh eldest tu..takut tak larat nak menapak..)...jenuh la aku nak mengangkat strolelr tu nanti |
