L’Arc-en-Ciel brings new song “SCHOOL OF LOCK!” to TOKYO FM airwaves
Fans of rock band L’Arc-en-Ciel will be able to hear the band’s upcoming single, “SCHOOL OF LOCK!“, on TOKYO FM on May 9th at 22:00.
No more information has been released other than it will be played for the first time on that day, so the mystery of the single is likely to keep fans at the edge of their seats.
“SCHOOL OF LOCK!” will be broadcasted on 38 channels nationwide, not just on TOKYO FM, so fans should definitely check it out if they can!

L’Arc~en~Ciel’s new single, “GOOD LUCK MY WAY” + 20th L’Anniversary year details
Rock band L’Arc~en~Ciel has been releasing “20th L’Anniversary” items to go with their celebrating 20 years as band. So far, in this year alone, they’ve released three best albums, a “TWENITY BOX“, and the “FIVE LIVE ARCHIVES 2” just last month.
The newest addition is their 20th anniversary single, “GOOD LUCK MY WAY“, which will be released on June 29th. It is the theme song to the animated movie, “FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST Miross no seinaru hoshi“, and the song will be released on Chaku-Uta pre-downloading on the 25th of May.
Furthermore, the band will be performing a sold out anniversary live, “20th L’Anniversary Live“, at AIJINOMOTO STADIUM on May 28th and 29th. The special 2-day show will go through the band’s history, playing songs from the past 20 years. The first day will be composed of songs from their first album, “DUNE“, to their fifth album, “Heart“. They will play songs from the albums “ray” and “ark“, to their last album release, “KISS“, on the second day.
Not only that, but the band is holding a “20th L’Anniversary year Campaign” as well. Fans must collect stickers on the L’Arc~en~Ciel and TETSUYA albums, and once collected, they can enter the campaign and selected winners can win exclusive premium “20th L’Anniversary year Special Goods“.

WOWOW to broadcast L’Arc~en~Ciel’s 20th anniversary concerts in July!
On May 28th and 29th, L’Arc~en~Ciel will be holding their 20th anniversary concerts, “20th L’Anniversary Live”, at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo. In July, fans can relive the experience because the network WOWOW will be broadcasting it!

The concert’s tickets were sold out on the first day, and tickets to the movie theaters that will be airing the concert live were all sold out both inside Japan and abroad. So clearly, “20th L’Anniversary Live” is a hot topic among fans.
On the 28th, the band will be playing albums from “DUNE” to “HEART”, and on the 29th they will be playing from “ark” and “ray” to “KISS”. As you can tell, the band will go through 20 years of history in two days.

WOWOW will begin broadcasting the concert on July 31st from 18:00 to 20:00, so fans both at the concert and those who unfortunately couldn’t make it should stay tuned to WOWOW for a spectacular performance.

Antara artis yang pergi tengok concert ni pada 28hb... Semestinya, kaum kerabat Hyde, Yasu (Janne Da Arc/Acid Black Cherry), Daigo (BREAKERZ), Mao (SID). Selain tuh, ada Abe Natsumi (Morning Musume), Huzimoto Mik, Kano Hidetaka dan ramai lagi. Sebenarnya kat konsert2 artis Jepun terutama rock acts, mmg ramai artis suka pergi tengok, di samping beri sokongan, semua tu untuk hiburan derang gak, cuma tak di-heboh2kan jer. Kite harap media Korea (dan juga fans) boleh belajar dari media Jepun, nak mention sikit2 dekat blog ker, forum ker ok, tp jgn terlalu heboh2kan (macam banyak berlaku di media2 Korea untuk konsert BB dan SNSD; senaraikan nama2 artis2 Jepun yg pergi, dengan gambar2 sekali), sbb benda tuh dianggap biadap, seolah mengganggu privacy artis2 di waktu leisure time mereka. Klu tgk konsert DVD Acid Black Cherry, Yasu salu mention nama2 artis/selebriti yg pergi tengok konsert dia sambil ucap terima kasih, tapi tak sekalipun kamera pergi suluh muka artis tu dekat2. Itu nama dia menghormati ruang peribadi mereka. |

L’Arc~en~Ciel announces 20th anniversary tour, 2012 world tour

Over the weekend, rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel performed their two 20th anniversary concerts at the Ajinomoto Stadium. After the show, they announced that they will be doing a 20th anniversary tour later this year, followed by a world tour in 2012.
The “20th L’Anniversary Tour” schedule is as follows:

L’Arc~en~Ciel announces 24-hour show on Nico Nico Douga
The members of rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel are still celebrating their 20th anniversary, and their latest project is a 24-hour broadcast on video website Nico Nico Douga. Titled “Nico Nico L’Arc Station,” the show will feature their songs, music videos, and concert footage, plus a one-hour live segment with all of the members appearing.
The program will begin at 8:00pm JST on June 27. It will include 123 songs, ranging from their indie days to their latest, “GOOD LUCK MY WAY.” They will also air music videos for 44 songs, including the first-ever broadcast of the “Fullmetal Alchemist” version of the “GOOD LUCK MY WAY” music video. Footage from their “TOUR 2008~L’7 Trans ASIA via PARIS~” will also be shown.
For the final hour, starting at 7:00pm on June 28, all of the L’Arc~en~Ciel members will appear live to talk about “GOOD LUCK MY WAY” and their 20 years together. In addition, there will be a special segment in which L’Arc will communicate directly with their fans, using the “Nico Nico Denwa” (telephone) feature.
At some point during the program, there will also be a “L’Arc~en~Ciel Quiz” with a special present up for grabs.
At the upcoming Japan Expo in Paris (June 30-July 3), the Nico Nico Douga booth will replay the L’Arc~en~Ciel broadcast, though details are currently unknown.
