DID YOU KNOW...
ONE OF THE MOST ADVANCED CONSTRUCTIONS IS THIS, AND IT IS KNOWN as the terror of GPS systems. In China, specifically in the city of Chongqing, you can find one of the most complex road interchanges in the world, the Huangjuewan Interchange. This is not just a simple road, but a structure that resembles a roller coaster, with eighteen ramps and eight possible directions distributed over five levels. The highest of these levels reaches an impressive height of 37 meters. This road maze is the worst nightmare for navigation systems, as the varying heights make it incredibly difficult to accurately locate the vehicle's real position.
The construction of this megastructure took 8 years and cost over 600 million dollars. This interchange facilitates traffic between the city center and its suburbs. The design of this interchange was an engineering challenge, given the mountainous terrain of Chongqing, which required innovative solutions to minimize environmental impact and maximize traffic efficiency.

The amazing bamboo bridge that is rebuilt every year. The Koh Pen bridge, which crosses the Mekong River, is built annually before the rainy season in Cambodia.
This peculiar bridge for everyone is built annually during the dry season, however, just before the rainy season (from May to November), the local inhabitants dismantle the bridge and store all the bamboo, since the strong currents of the Mekong are too strong for the bridge to survive.
Many would think that the bridge is for pedestrians, but it is not. The structure is designed so that locals and visitors can visit the place and live the experience by passing by on bicycles, motorbikes, cars and trucks every day regardless of weight and size. Is it free? No, not at all. In addition to the risk of passing through the place, the local inhabitants buy a modest sum of 0.25 dollars for its maintenance during the year.
