Liverpool to make shock Carroll move
Liverpool could make a shock move to buy Andy Carroll from Newcastle to replace Fernando Torres.
According to reports in the Sun, Reds owner John Henry could make a £30million for the England star if the proposed move of Torres to Chelsea goes through.
Further reports indicate that Liverpool's director of football Damien Comolli has set his sights on Carroll, which will frustrate his previous employers Tottenham Hotspur, given that the London club have had a previous offer of £25 million rejected by Toon owner Mike Ashley.
Liverpool are also reported to have an interest in bringing in Aston Villa's Ashley Young and Blackpool's Charlie Adam for a combined spending of £45.5 million in the past four days, given that Luiz Suarez cost the Merseysiders £22.5 million for his transfer from Ajax Amsterdam.

LIVERPOOL SIGN SUAREZ
Luis Suarez has today completed his transfer from Ajax to Liverpool FC and signed a 5 and a half-year-deal that will keep him at Anfield until 2016.
The club agreed a fee of up to 26.5million Euros with Ajax for the transfer of the Uruguayan international on Friday.
The deal was subject to the completion of a medical, which the player has now passed.
Luis Suarez will wear the No.7 shirt for Liverpool.
