ni happen many years back...aku gi makan ngan members kat jb.
dorang tarok passport dalam kereta.i said you bawakakn senang,bukan nya berat.
abis makan dorang pergi ka kereta....kereta kena gelodak...tapi yang make me wonder...passport dorang tak kena curik...penyamun ambik what cash yang ada...i thot they would want to take the passport...
as for me,i was holding on to my passport...

11th Feb 2005

Departed for Krabi at 7.40 am. Bangun pukul 4 pagi, got everything ready, pukul 5 turun, call a cab to the airport and checked in. Makan pat BK to kill time. Flight was full.

Sampai sana local time 8.25am. Journey from the airport to the hotel is about 40 minutes. Sampai hotel terus check in. Ada free half day city tour but we declined. Banyak visit temple. We decided to explore the surrounding area. So we got changed and before heading out, wanted to put stuff in the hotel safe. Entah macam mana jam pulak. So had to wste a half hour to get the staff to come and rectify. After that, I decided to lock everything in my hard case Samsonite.

We headed outside the hotel. Alot of shops, but same old same old. Handicrafts, fake designer goods, t-shirts...it was soooo hot, my girl tak boleh tahan, asik ngoyok suruh belikan dia payung sebab panas....hehehe....after a bit of walking, we went back to the hotel, got changed into swimsuits, armed ourselves with lots of sun block and a mat (and a book for me) and headed to the beach which is just in front of the hotel. Stayed there the whole afternoon. Chic duduk pat tepi baca buku while my girl gi swim ngan hubby. Lepas tu layan dia main pasir.

Lunch at the beach. There were push carts and ada Muslim food. So we had the pancakes. YUmmmmyyy....dia macam prata, but you can choose to have it with bananas, pineapple, choc sauce, macam2 lah. So we had banana, pineapple choc, and plain with honey. Very fattening. But delicious.

For dinner, we headed outside the hotel. The girl at the reception said there's a Muslim restaurant, outside the hotel, less than a 100 m to the right of the hotel. When we finally found it. The lady inside tak nak layan kita. She was busy chatting with this young cute ang moh guy. She just left us standing there. So I tanya dia politely about Muslim food dia kata no dun have today. Then she continued talking to the guy. I tanya lagi if we can come back tomorrow and she just kept saying no no food. Fed up sey. REstaurant apa sey no food. Abih I asked one last question, mana lagi nak cari Muslim food, she just waved her hand to the right and turned to the ang moh guy. Eh eh makcik ni. Macam nak swin aje. Kurang ajar sey. Kita tak jejak lagi pat situ after that. Kita jalan depan sikit. syukur Alhamdulillah terus ada this push cart baru parking, ada kakak pakai tudung jual sticky rice with chicken. Kita pegi tengok ada tulis Muslim food, dengan ayat Bismillah on the board. So kita pun beli.  Sedap. 20 baht each. The dish is so simple, and yet so delicious. I was just so thankful we got halal food to eat.

After that, jalan2 lagi sikit. Balik hotel bout 8+ pm, mandikan my girl, kasi dia makan ubat, terus dia pengsan. Hubby and I duduk pat balcony and just enjoyed the nite. 10 pm bedtime.

We decide to join a one day tour to Hong Island. We cam across this Muslim Travel Agency and decided to go with them. Halal lunch provided. 800 baht per person. Pick up at the hotel at 8.30 am. We had b'fast in the room instead sebab my girl bangun lambat.

It was very interesting. We had to wade in the water sampai knee level to get to the speed boat and off we go. We made a stop at Railay beach to pick up some pax and continued on. After that we made other small stops at Paradise Island and another island (lupa nama dia). Hubby and girl did some swmmming. Cantik sekali pemandangan dia. All the limestone caves. Will try to post some pics here. Haven't gone thru it yet.

Sampai Hong Island, we had lunch and then went snorkeling. My girl takut dengan the fishes, kelakar sekali. We stayed on HOng Island for 2 and a half hours. After that kita beredar, then we went to one of the places where Leonardo Dicaprio shot The Beach, very nice, and we went deep sea snorkeling. Then back to the hotel. Sampai hotel bout 4 pm. My daughter nap sekejap, and we watched Star Movies. Malam we went to one of the push cart to have dinner. My hubby had beef baguette sandwich and I had a hotdog sandwich. Sedap. My girl makan roti dengan nutella.

This one free and easy. We were contemplating about going for the elephant trekking tour. But decided against it coz takut my girl tak enjoy. So we had a leisurely b'fast at the hotel, jalan2 pat luar sekejap then came back to the hotel and vegged out by the pool. Banyak Europeans. Semua macam udang bakar, berjemur aje....

We had late lunch at about 3 pm, makan sticky rice with chicken lagi. Then rest jap, pukul 5 headed to the beach. My girl swimming, main pasir and we watched the sunset (around 6.30). Gorgeous....

Dinner, we went to the push carts, my hubby makan nasi goreng and I had chicken pad thai. Dia goreng there and then. Kita pack bawak balik hotel to eat. We bout pineapple for dessert. Every time kita beli makan, tak sampai 100 baht, which is about $4.40. Cheap and good...:ah:

Chic pakai kasut tapi bawak selipar sepasang....pat sana pakai selipar aje. In fact, kita keluar pegi beach dan jalan2 pat hotel area kaki ayam aje....:ah:
