[News] Se7en Films new CF "21C" ; Cinderella’s shoes becomes handphone
Cinderella disappears leaving a “handphone” instead of her glass shoes…
On the 16th, KTFT EVER’s new commercial “EVER Crystal Phone” will be opened to the public.
The bell echoes, breaking the silence of the night. A woman dressed in a blue gown hurriedly went to her pumpkin carriage. The prince came running after her but was disheartened for she left without a trace. But then, he sees a glittering object on the red carpet. It is the “EVER Crystal Phone”. The prince opened the phone and muttered, “Will she return?”
The new EVER commercial was based from a popular fairytale--Cinderella. The mystery surrounding the commercial also doubles as a tango song called “Reflejo De Luna” (Moon’s Reflection) was used as its background music.
EVER Crystal Phone’s special feature is its metal casing that sparkles. We connected the story of Cinderella’s glass shoes with the handphone”, a Phoenix Communications, Korean advertising agency, representative said.
The 21st century prince of Cinderella was singer Se7en. Se7en, who is preparing for his Japanese concerts and US debut, returned to Korea for a short time to shoot the commercial.
The commercial, wherein students and bystanders watched the shoot until dawn, was shot last May 13 in Kyunghee University Suwon campus. The night was filled with the white horses, carriage, red carpet, Cinderella in her blue dress and prince Se7en.
Se7en did some fan service by showing his charm and dancing while doing the commercial.
Cast as Cinderella was newcomer Lim Tae Um. It took 2 years of preparation before she finally debuted in the entertainment world.
The pumpkin carriage is actually a real one and not just a CG [computer graphics] in order to make the fairytale come to life. The blue dress, wherein the train reached 3 meters, was specifically made for this commercial.

Seven to Give Last Japan Concert This Yr

Singer Seven yet again proved his high popularity in Japan.
Tickets to his 2007 Japan Tour in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo that were released in late May were sold out in just one day.
An official at the singer's agency in Japan says that thanks to enthusiastic fans, the 20,000 tickets were sold immediately without any particular promotion.
Seven is currently working on an album for his advance to the US. Therefore the Japan tour will be his last production in the island nation for this year. He will perform in Nagoya on Saturday, Osaka on July 2, and Tokyo on the 7th and 8th, for a total of 4 concerts.
He will stay in Japan promoting his 6th Japanese single until the end of July and head to the US in early August to record his debut US album.

“I want to impart my feelings in Japanese”, SE7EN’s new song & concert
Popular Korean singer Se7en is set to release his 6th Japanese single “Ari no Mama” on July 4 and on the 7th and 8th, he holds 2 concerts in Tokyo.
Se7en debuted in 2003 with his 1st album “JUST LISTEN” and has now become a top star of his native country. It was 3 years ago, after the decision was made that he will debut in Japan, when he started learning Japanese.
Regarding his new song, it is a strong dance track. Se7en easily handles the rap intonation in Japanese. “It has the same beat of dance songs in Korea. But as Japanese place more importance on melody, I felt a little worried [in doing the song]”, Se7en conveyed.
For 5 years after being accepted in an audition, while cleaning the office and the like, he practiced to sing and dance. “My favorite genre are hip-hop and R&B, the colorful music element of J-POP has also entered. I’m studying because I would like to make a genre into my own style”, Se7en said.
In Se7en's concerts, he wants to present a rawer sound. “I work hard and persevere so that I can impart my feelings in Japanese”, Se7en expressed.

Se7en, US-Japan invasion!
Singer Se7en, who came out with a digital single that includes 5 songs from his 747 concert, released an interview video in the music site (www.muz.co.kr).
“Since I was young, I wanted to become a singer. The only thought I had before becoming a singer was to become a singer. After becoming a singer, I dream that wherever I am, I will become a singer that everyone will recognize”, Se7en said when asked about his childhood dream.
Se7en is presently preparing for his Japanese concerts and working hard on his US debut album. He wishes to accomplish it in the soonest time so he could share his good news to his awaiting fans.
“I did a duet song “Take Control” with worldwide singer Amerie and learned so much. I would like work with other musicians”, Se7en said.
Music site Muz’s release of Se7en’s Star Open Album and Star UCC music video, which consists of videos of Se7en practicing singing, dancing etc., are attracting attention.

Se7en’s “La La La remix”, online hit!
Singer Se7en’s R&B style ballad song “La La La”, which recently came out with a remix version, has become a “re-hit”.
In only after 2 days since the release of "747 Digital Single", "La La La remix" already ranked 4th in the music chart of online site Bugs. It has also entered the charts of other online music sites like Melon and Dosirak.
The remix version was actually showcased to the public during Se7en’s 747 concert in April. The melody’s R&B style was changed into a “trance version” and even then, received a hot reaction from the audience.
“After the first release of ‘La La La remix’ during the concert, fans unceasingly requested that they hear the song again that is why it came to a point that we released a concert DVD. It was surprising that “La La La remix”, which was released online for fan service, is getting an explosive reaction”, expressed YG Entertainment’s authorized personnel.

Although Se7en is in Japan for his concerts, he left behind a video to commemorate July 7, 2007, SE7EN DAY, with his fans.
Last July 6, a video entitled "2007 SE7EN DAY Commemorative Video" was posted in his official homepage, which runs for 6 minutes and 6 seconds and as of now, it has already recorded 8,376 hits. (July 7, 4:25 pm)
Before leaving for Japan, Se7en, in his white singlet, white cap and sunglasses, expressed his appreciation to his fans and expressed his love with a heart sign.
"Hello! This is Se7en. Today is July 7, special Se7en day. It's sad that I can't be with you on this special day but I'll do my best in my concert in Japan so please send your support," Se7en said.
"It's impossible that I can be with you but sooner or later I'd try for it to happen. Enjoy and celebrate the Se7en day. I'll be back. I will return and you and I will enjoy good song and music. I love you," Se7en added.
Fans wish that Se7en finishes his Japan concerts safely. They send their support and wish for him to come back soon.
Se7en has two remaining concerts in Tokyo on the 7th and 8th.

Seven to Release Album in U.S.
The date 7/7/2007 has proven to be auspicious for singer Seven.
His sixth single album released in Japan took the seventh spot on the Oricon music chart, while his concert in Tokyo as part of his 2007 Japan tour has ended successfully.
Seven has held his tour since June 30 along with a live band, drawing some 30,000 viewers. At his concerts, the singer showed off impressive dance moves and demonstrated his skill at playing the guitar and drums.
Seven captivated the hearts of his female fans by showing off his muscular body at his outdoor concerts despite heavy rains, and sang his Japanese debut song "Light" along with his fans. Seven's Japanese tour came as his last event this year prior to his upcoming debut in the United States, and drew some 300 Korean fans as well.
The singer will promote his new single album this month in Japan and leave for the U.S. in August to begin the recording of his debut album in that country.
Seven says he has been unable to perform in Korea as much as he originally planned this year, but will work hard to achieve his ultimate goal of releasing an album in the United States.

Se7en’s 5-city album preview party and more…
March 14, 2008
After 2 years since Se7en announced his plans on breaking into the US market, a concrete plan on his US debut was released. Not only that, he is now back in the limelight and will be attending the “White Day” party at the Hiro Ballroom of Maritime Hotel in New York city on March 14, wherein he will be singing 3 songs from his US debut album. This event also marks the start of Se7en’s 5-city album preview party.
The event will also be attended by Mark Shimmel, in charge of Se7en’s US album, officials from the American cable network BET and Jive Records, which is the home of popular singers like Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and R. Kelly.
As promised before, YG Entertainment released more information regarding Se7en’s US debut.
“Se7en has been getting a lot of interest from American music officials because of news that the best producers like Rich Harrison, Noize Trip and Dark Child particpated in his album. After the album contract is wrapped up, a formal album release party is scheduled to be held in Atlanta,” YG Entertainment announced.

Documentary on Se7en抯 US debut

Se7en抯 preview party at the Hiro Ballroom in New York held on March 14 was attended by a little over 1,000 people and three of Se7en抯 songs from his US debut album, one of which features Three Six Mafia, were played.
During the event, HOT 97抯 DJ Miss INFO introduced Se7en first then he came up the stage and introduced himself.
Interests on the showcase were hot and the inside story is that BET, a local broadcasting corporation, has shown its interest to produce a documentary on Se7en抯 US debut.
Videos of the showcase were also posted in Youtube and have already recorded 30,000 or more hits. There were also positive reviews like 揌is songs are very nice. They抮e the kind of songs that will fit well in the US market |

Se7en: LA preview party

Se7en, who is scheduled to release his debut album in the US, is going to perform in his Verizon-sponsored preview party in Los Angeles, which is unlike the preview party he had in New York last March where he just introduced his songs.
Se7en is holding the preview party in the famous club “Highlands” on May 2. In the said event, he is planned to perform the R&B song “Money Can’t Buy Me Love,” which was composed by 1TYM’s Teddy, “You Got Me,” featuring Three 6 Mafia and “Girls,” which was produced by Darkchild, who will also be there in the event. Far East Movement and Three 6 Mafia will also have special performances before Se7en goes up on stage.
People from major recording labels like Interscope, Jive and Sony and BET officials are going to attend the event, which is said to be an important stage for Se7en for his US debut. Even Blackeyed Peas’ member and producer Will.I.AM, “Boyz N The Hood” director John Singleton and Amerie are also said to go to the preview party.
Meanwhile, 1TYM member Teddy and YG Entertainment’s big boss Yang Hyun Suk are leaving Korea on May 1 to attend the party.

Asian Superstar, Se7en, and Verizon Wireless team up for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Charity Program

LOS ANGELES, CA – For Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Verizon Wireless and Asian superstar, Se7en, have joined forces to bring the Asian Pacific American communities together for a wonderful cause. This charity program will encompass performances and autograph signings by Se7en in means of promoting the HopeLine phone drive. These activities are scheduled to take place in the Los Angeles areas during the Memorial Day weekend. The specific dates and locations of the events are as follows:
