my 1st leg flight kl istanbul delay tp sempat jugak beli turkish delight
on the way to the gate to catch my 2nd flight tu
i nampak ada beberapa plug points tp semua ada hp sedang dicaj
cuma balik nanti i ada 8 hours stop so tak pasti nk buat apa
katanya kena dapatkan visa sebelum boleh keluar airport
transit pulak 5pm ke 1 pagi macam x secure je nk jalan sorang2

For Malaysians, no need for visa. I just double checked for you from Turkey Tourism website (below), u should go out straight to Sultanahmet (Blue Mosque) and take pics & rest in the park
or
you could go straight to the ferry area Sirkeci, try the fish sandwich behind the Galata bridge and cross the road to see the New Mosque and about 200 m away is the Spice/Egyptian Market - buy Olive Oil soaps, Pomengranate teas, Turkish honey. If you are into photography, go straight to Sirkeci. Boleh take pics of sunset at Galata Bridge, New Mosque, Galata Tower (across the Bosphours Strait) and ferries.
Around 930pm you should leave Istanbul city allowing time for traffic jams.
I think you should go out from the airport sbb alang alang dah sampai Istanbul but kena aim pegi tempat mana OK.

Ade terbaca kat sini, salah sorang forumer yg dah pergi, ada kad yg boleh di beli utk masuk ketempat2 lawatan (entrance fee) sekitar istanbul yg mana ianya mcm ade diskaun sikit dari kita byr setiap kali nk enter... saya cari balik tk jumpa la... ada sesape tahu tak... |

sbb ada baca website ataturk sblm ni dan katanya kena visa
tu yg mcm malas nk keluar kalau prosedur panjang
now i dah boleh plan nk buat apa
antaranya nk rasa street food dan ambik gmbr

Istanbul is very easy to navigate once ypu kat sana.. putar2 kat situ-situ juga  I round mostly on foot jerr.. |

InshaAllah, agar sebelum bulan Oktober, semua akan rede kut. Flight ticket, bulan lepas dah beli. Ground .. dah bayar deposit. Serupa dgn onwards destination ke Greece, air & hotel pun sudah ditempah dan bayar. |

Itinerary sy Istanbul-Santorini-Athens-Istanbul dgn Aegean Airlines RM1.4k+. Other airlines operating IST-ATH adalah Olympic & Pegasus. (Pegasus operate from both Artatuk & Sabiha). Berpatah balik ke IST kerana balik dgn MH dari IST. Sebab umur dah banyak & kesuntukan masa, tak larat nak tunggu atau kejar naik train/bus/ferry. |
