I come bearing bad news. Well, terrible news, really. Korea will beenforcing a brand new anti-file sharing law in July. It's a serious,serious situation. It seems to be directed at television shows / moviesmore than music, but just to be safe, I'm going to stop posting Koreanmaterial here in the near future.
"According to the bulked-up copyright law, the government hasthe power to shutdown an online message board for a maximum six monthsafter the site is warned for a third time to delete pirated content andprevent its movement. In addition to the "three-strikes" rule, Internetusers who repeatedly upload copyrighted content without permissioncould lose their Internet accounts.
Defining copyrighted content is also a problem, as the conceptnot only includes movies, television shows and music, but also thearticles of media organizations and even individual blog postings.
"The law could have the government shutting down not only majorWeb portals, but online message boards of smaller companies and even'meta sites' that compile blog posts. The boys be raking in them dough with CYON..damn they kept releasing one phone after another. This time it's a newone call 'ARENA' it's like another tougher version of the iPhone, sinceiPhone can't work in Korea due to some technical difficulties, CYON islike "kungfu this! On the 24th June, the boys released their debut single ‘My Heaven’ and in the morning they also appeared on Mezamashi TV programme. On the programme, Big Bang was introduced as ‘Korea’s Best Artiste’ and they also talked about the group’s debut single just released.
On the show, they also revealed Big Bang’s dormitory in Japan. TaeYang, “This is the first time we are revealing our dormitory on TV.” feeling a little embarrassed. In the apartment, many CD, comics, figurines etc can be seen.
