This year’s Baju Raya preparation started as early as February and we anticipate many designers will be releasing their collection through Zalora and Fashion Valet. Customers have a chance to pre-order or buy all the latest designs to wow their guests at Raya open houses. The first designer to put showcase their 2017 Baju Raya collection is Jovian onZalora. This year's collection is a collaboration between Jovian Mandagie and Lisa Surihani and has lots of striking dark colours, unique cuts and shapes with flowers and block shapes. If you're looking to do a theme or a mix and match with your mum and daughter, Lisa and Jovian has got a collection for them too, as well as a couple of Maternity options! Zalia's Hari Raya collection is also out onZalora with this year's trend looking a lot more soft and feminine with pastel but also a few with striking dark colours. Lots of Peplum tops and floral embelishments/designs can also be found in the collection. With so many different types of styles, it'll be hard to pick just one for this year! Poplook also released its official Raya Antalya collection this week, mirroring some of Zalia's designs with pastels and flowers. Savannah by Jovian Mandagie, the second collection by Jovian Mandagie, was just released on Zalora. This collection is notably different to his collab collection, with inspiration of Africa's energy and vibrancy as seen in the colours and prints of the clothes. Nothing short of gorgeous! Another collection new to the scene isPetra's Lebaran 2017 line - which can also be found on Zalora. Go bold with flashy prints or keep it mysterious with their dark and sultry dresses. Lots of puffed sleeves and half peplums can be seen here. New to the scene is Tom Abang Saufi onZalora. Expect wide and kimono sleeves, kaftans and sarong skirts with this collection in both dark and bright colours with a hint of batik designs. Also new this year is Kree for Zalora, perfect for those going for the simple yet classy look. The highly antipated designs of Rizalman for Zalora sure has gotten people talking. Let your sleeves do the talking with this collection - with many different variations surely to catch people's attention. The designs range from modern classic, specifically with the Kebayas to something you'd wear to the Oscars! 3D, metalic, lace and pleats is famous inLubna's Raya collection this year, including statement sleeves, which can be found on Zalora. Check out this diverse collection! Lyndarhim's collection on Zalora was inspired by jungle tropics, perfect for those with a wild side. Simplicity is FZK for Zalora. Go back to basics with this designer who dabbled with lots of pastel this year. FashionValet has officially started releasing their exclusive Raya 2017 collections as well! This year's colours are soft with lots of flowers and butterflies. Locka brings back old school glamour with a hint of modernity.
