I kerja dengan Energy Company. Actually mother company is doing multibusinesses worth billions of dollars which has a single owner. One of the businesses is the Wind Farm (power station) which generates electricity to supply to Western Power (mcm TNB kat msia). In average this Wind Farm generates revenue of AU3mil monthly. My hb is head of this Wind Farm and he is my boss at work.

Resepi yg mana satu Pulut? Sugar plait or bun pandan tu rasanya ramai yg dah try dan turned out ok. I masa first attempt buat bun pun tak menjadi. Dough lembik. Tapi bukan resepi kak noor. I buat sekali lagi baru menjadi. I think puan pulut salah sukatan kot. Cuba try test sekali lagi....

thanks plat, seems like madame pulut not the only one who encountered the same prob. itew dough sudah 2 kali kena buang and I think the bun manis or pandan. either way, dua2 kaput. the dough shud be sticky or macam itu roti canai punya dough.

Pulut major apa ya? Kalau wind technology boleh try apply ngan VESTAS. Company besaq and base kat Holland. Cawangannya all over the world. Kat aussie ni HQnya kat Melbourne.

Mallan, I ni memang jenis yang susah nak turun berat badan, buatlah macam mana pun, tetap sama. Cuma once in my older life (that was 6 yrs ago....) berat I turun 41 kg. Muka memang panjang tapi look so haggard. Nak tau macam mana boleh kurus? Depressed teruk sebab masa tu baru sampai ke France...

cream cheese spreadable boleh tak digunakan kalau nak buat cheesecake? Semalam pergi cari lagi kat 3 supermarkets tapi cream cheese spreadable je yang ada..

Nope....spreadable cream cheese khas untuk kegunaan 'spread' on top of  bread and crackers. It won't stand up as creamcheese block.

I baca somewhere dlm net, dia kata spreadable ni diaorg dah whip kasi angin kan sikit supaya lebih lembut dan senang nak spread. Sbb dia lebih ' light ' in texture.

Thank you for the info. Nampaknya memang tak dapatlah nak buat cheese cake tu. Cream cheese tu je yang ada kat almost all the major supermarket yang I cari..lain-lain punya brand pun sama jugak, spreadable cream cheese. Kat KL dulu my grocery shop da jual cream cheese philly ni. Apasal susah sangat nak cari??

Why dont you just try. Kalau spreadable tu tak mahal sgt, buat aje. I think rasa nye mungkin sama, tapi cuma texture lain sikit. Tak cuba tak tahu. cuba 1/2 kan recipenye.

Kalau tak jadi pun sbb texture dia je. Rasa cheesy dia mesti ada. I pernah buat cheesecake terlembik. I masuk fridge lelama sikit. Tapi rasa dia ttp sedap. Kalau tak nak rugi banyak, try je 1/2 of the recipe.

I banyak gak buat kek kkdg tak menjadi masa I kat sini. But it should stop you from trying. Mcm my apple dessert cake. Puas I try cornmeal kat sini. Lepas 2-3 kali baru dpt yg betul.

Cali...I memang Google how to find cheesecake kat Doha...memang susah gamaknya, most of the link I jumpa merungut macam mana nak cari cheesecake. You pernah pi kedai bakery kat Doha? Tanya depa how they find creamcheese?

Hmmm....spreadable creamcheese tu ada yang perasa plain tak? Rather than buat cake, try buat style 'pie' size. Guna pie pan. Try use only one or two tubs first. Use the crust, kalau tak ada guna biskut biasa, pecah2kan halus, letak dua tiga sudu gula. Press at the bottom, bakar few minutes dan sejukkan.

Mix your spreadable cream cheese dengan lebih tepung sikit....since the texture very soft compare to block creamcheese. Cuba letak tepung dalam 1/2 cup.

Kurang kan telur dari 4 ke 2 and also gula jugak.

Bake waterbath okay. Kalau pie pan tu rendah, water tu letak dalam loyang lain and letak kat rack yang bawah. I tak pernah buat nih....but as Mallan said you can try. Let me know the result.

Okay I rasa I akan cuba jugak as both of you cadangkan. But don't expect miracle la ye. Tak seronok nak buat kek bahan tak cukupkan. I dah ada tanya kat bakery tak jauh dari rumah ni, diorang import from UAE or Europe most of the time, so pada dorang no hal.

Macam tahun lepas kat Doha ni ada crisis tak cukup telur. Sebiji (saiz kecik sekali) about 1RM itupun if you are lucky enough to find it. So memang dekat sebulan lebih tak dapat nak buat anything yang kena guna telur. Qatar ni survives with importations  and that's including manpower. Takda barang import memang negara ni tak bergerak..
