Hi all…  me and the gang just got back from a 4 day 3 nite fun -seeking trip in Singapore. Huhu… thot 4 days is enough to see all of Singapore.. rupa rupanya despite the island being er a small one (sowwiee pps).. it is one that is packed with all these small things that requires you to spend  many hours scrutinizing them and sambil2 tu makan buah langsat skilo dua (if you get the drift) huhuhu…macam mana ler ku boleh sesat kat pulau kecik tuuuu (i.e  dlm buildings and station mrt hehehe)
Anyway here’s the summary of the trip..
Day 1.
8.50 am Departed from KLIA via Jetstar and arrived at Changi Terminal 1 Airport at 9.50am. Leceh skit nak ke Terminal C KLIA sebab aerotrain dah berapa bulan duk service so kene naik shuttle bus dari main terminal to terminal C. Leceh sebab I handcarry jer my stuff which was ok.. tapi sebab my Year 1 niece was too lazy to tarik her own trolley bag, auntie  jugak ler kene tarik bag dia turun naik escalator, turun naik bas kuar masuk flight huhu
Tip #1 : From time to time do check other low cost carriers cam jetstar and tigerairways  sebab they could be cheaper than airaasia. Bought the tics just a week or two before the trip but could still get RM 139 for a return trip. Hand carry is 10kg and  no need to pay for convenience fee if u r using credit card. And even tho we didn’t book the seat we were all given seats next to each other ( tapi tak tau ler  if that was just our  good luck
Sampai Changi, a relative was already waiting. Sampai rumah, breakfast and sembang lebih kurang then after Friday prayers kuar sightseeing..konon nak  cari merlion kat esplanade ke apa (actually trip haru biru sket cos tak abis study pasal Singapore huhu – I mean I didn’t even know wat are the must see and do things there.. in other words I don’t have a wish list huhu… Cuma tau kene gi USS jer *sigh*  plus pulak lupa  nak amik  flyers kat airport (ada ke? ).  Got ourselves the ez-link cards (mcm touh n go) which can be used on all  public transport I think. Then sampai esplanade station,  dok pusing2 tak tau which exit to take… aiyyoo… horror gak
Tip #2: Local calls are free inside the Changi terminal (sebelum  custom area )
Tip #3. Kalau nak beli ezlink card utk children kene tunjuk passport.

Day 2
Kuar umah as early as 8.00 am. Amik bas ke mrt station and the ride ended at harbor font station. Sekali lagi sesat tak tau how do we get to uss. Sure nampak signs sentosa express, boardwalk to sentosa and bus stop and cable car to sentosa but we were confused (sori misrebel u did give me advice.. cuma ahkak lupa jot down hehe). Tambah2  I thot asiatravel.com kiosk from which I had bought my USS tics online tu kat Vivocity tu so jenuh gak tanya (er actually I forgot to print out their full address – so its my fault hehe ) Akhirnya jumpa gak satu info counter utk bertanya.. pendek citer sampai gak kami ke USS.

Masuk USS dlm 10.30. Pendek citer syokkkkkkkkk  abeh. Semua shows tengok,  naik rides yg queue tak berapa panjang -  tapi cian my niece ada gak cartoon characters tak sempat bergambar. Masuk 10.30 am kuar USS dlm kul 9.45 sebab tunggu the fireworks  at 9.00pm which actually lasted for 15 mins only.

Tip #4:  Study hard before you embark on any journey. Kalau tak, mercury rising, I tell you
Tip #5: Airasiatravel.com kioask tu actually kat USS.  Turun dari mrt station tu pi underground ke coach bay. Ada le kat situ.
Tip #6: Dari Harbour Front  MRT station  u can go into Sentosa via 4 means: 1) Boardwalk -  jalan kaki jer – distance about 1 km kot tapi don’t worry ada travelator and u can enjoy the scenery too.  At the end of the Walk tu,ada  ticket/pass counter. The entrance  will cost you $ing 1 only. U can just swipe  yr ezlink card or pay for the ticket at the counter.Dah masuk dalam tu u r free to ride on the MRT.  
2) MRT – Turun train kat Harbour Front station tu, cari sign for monorail/exress to Sentosa.  The entrance ticket  for train riders are $ing 3.  USS stop is the first stop. Er.. actually ada 3 stops jer altogether. Train ni utk yg tak larat/malas  jalan jer cos u can just walk jer around the island.
3) Bus – cari sign -bus to sentosa -  Will cost u $ing 2.
4) Cable car – It will cost you $ing24 for one way trip and $ing26 for a return trip ( do correct me if I’m      
     wrong)

Day 3
Hari ni kami gi Sentosa island lagi cos balik belek2 pamphlet, ada lagi attractions kat Sentosa island rupanya. Kuar dlm kul 8.30am. We were staying in Tampines… so naik bas ke Punggol Mrt station (the last station) and from there direct to harbourfront station (end to end – and it takes us only  around 40 mins on the train…  Ingat nak amik cable car, tapi aGain couldn’t find the exit, which was a good thing cos later on we found out from the info counter that the tics are quite expensive. So since the day before dah naik sentosa  express, we decided to  go by the boardwalk. Sampai sentosa klik klik klik….and naik apa tuh obeservation ride ke apa nama dia.. dah lupe hehe... for ($ing15/adult; $ing10 children)

From Sentosa kami singgah ke Mustafa Centre. OOOO   Mustafa ni cam bangunan buruk skit… I duk gambar bangunan tu cantik and proper ler skit tapi  memang betui2 style Mydin le. Since it was already 4pm, we gave ourselves just two hours.  Jadi sempat beli souvenirs jer and I bought for myself a brandless leather handbag. Balik umah dulu sebab ingat nak sambng balik lepas maghrib.

Balik rumah  sambung sembang wt my sedara.. and plan malam tu terpaksa kansel. Tapi sedara reminded that simpan resit utk gst claim.

Day 4
Kuar around 8.00 am. Terus gi Mustafa. Kali ni terus cari sanyo travel cooker yg memang I nak beli cos was told I cud get it there. Beli 2 -for me and a friend. $ing80/unit. Last time me kirim my fren beli kat Changi Airport $ing100.  Kuar Mustafa, pekedai souvenir shop seberang jalan  duk lambai2. Singgah and demn!  the souvenirs were cheaper there!:@
Next stop Orchard Road. Jalan2 cuci mata je la. Tapi bila masuk takashimaya, terjatuh chenta pulak kat  handbag Jane Shilton which was at 40% discount and additional 5% discount for tourists.  Then gi buat GST claim dapat lagi 7% deduction. Yipppieee. I likeee . Amik cash kat airport – huhu.. actually $7 jer hehe.

Pukul 4pm pi umah sedara area Changi for late lunch. Kuar gi airport kul 6. Check in, immigration, pi claim GST and sampai gateC11 org dah start boarding for our 7.30 flight.   8.30 pm touched down at KLIA. Home Sweet Home.

On the whole the trip was fun. Tapi terkilan sebab tak cover the whole of Singapore like Jurong ke and other shopping areas like Bugis street, Arab Street, China town etc etc..  Repeat?  USS mungkin..tapi Singapore  probably not  - banyak lagi destinasi ASEAN ku  belum pergi : ))

Tip #6 :  Barang2 that u bought biasanya inclusive GST, so u can claim them back. Tapi jangan kumpul resit jer, instead setiap outlet that u go, lepas beli barang tanya camna nak claim GST. GST counter kat Mustafa ada kat Basement 2. Bagi jer all resits barang nanti depa buat cam invoice, cume Mustafa akan kreditkan GST tu dalam credit/ post u the check. Kami dapat claim dalam $ing40+. Takashimaya pulak dapt cash bila u present the ‘invoice’ tu kat GST counter kat airport.
Penting: Kene tunjuk passport utk buat GST claim ni. So have so passport with u when u go soppin : ))

Tip #7: Be at the airport early kalau u nak claim GST sebab nanti kene queue lagi.

will be staying @ Tune Hotel, JB.... my plan, 1st day msk USS... 2nd day jln2+shopping...
klu sy nk msk singapore for 2nd day better naik shuttle bus ke sentosa or marina bay???
mn satu yg senang nk access to Mustafa, Chinatown and Merlion (ini tempat2 yg wajib nk pegi)... klu ade ms br gi Orchard, Arab Street or lain2 tempat.... FYI, sy pegi b'6 + 1 infant....

    Kalau dari singapore nk msk jb naik je MRT lagi senang janji turun kat station Kranji keluar dari station ada banyak bas yg menunggu nak ke JB ICQ/Kota Raya tambang dalam 90 cent je sorang.  Kalau tak nak naik MRT boleh je naik bas dari Queen Street Bus Station ala area dia betul betul kat sebelah Bugis Street.  Kat sana memang banyak bas direct masuk JB boleh pilih nak turun kat ICQ atau pun Larkin.

Kalau dari Tune Danga Bay baik naik je dari JB ICQ/Kota Raya sebab Larkin jauh keatas lagi dlm 20 minit drive.  Kalau tak da transport dari Tune pun tak pa sebab banyak bas teksi depan Tune tu.  Dari ICQ/Kota Raya masuk kompleks ICQ ambik borang putih isi apa yg patut gi cop pas port.  

Dah cop turun ke bus bay bayar tambang dlm RM1.20 boleh turun ke Kranji MRT Station. Sebelam sampai ke Kranji Station memang bus akan stop kat Singapore imegrasion dah cop ada yg patut pas tu naik baik bus dari company yang sama.  

Bus tu akan bawa kita ke Kranji MRT Station.  Dari situ ikut suka kitalah nak gi mana yg penting ingat nak gi station mana and line warna apa.  Tambang balik dari Kranji ke ICQ/Kota Raya dlm 90 cent je.
