The character is "questioning a lot about who she is," says director Dean Israelite.
Power Rangers is breaking down a barrier no superhero movie has before. The Lionsgate reboot of the '90s children's TV show is the first big-budget superhero movie to feature an LGBT protagonist.
During Power Rangers' second act, there's a scene in which the titular heroes learn that the Yellow Ranger Trini (Becky G) is coming to terms with her sexual orientation, with one character assuming she's having "boyfriend problems," and soon realizing that perhaps she's actually having "girlfriend problems." It's a small moment, but one director Dean Israelite calls "pivotal" for the entire film.
"For Trini, really she's questioning a lot about who she is," Israelite tells The Hollywood Reporter. "She hasn't fully figured it out yet. I think what's great about that scene and what that scene propels for the rest of the movie is, 'That's OK.' The movie is saying, 'That's OK,' and all of the kids have to own who they are and find their tribe."

Ok so here you go. Power Rangers Movie I rated 3.5 stars. Love the costume, the cast, the direction of the movie. Tapi... tak puas sebab aksi ade la a few scenes, tak byk. Paham sebab kali ni diorg kena intro dari awal asal usul kisah Gordon, Rita Repulsa and the Power Rangers. Tak macam movie dlu, kita dpt tau from the series. Rita Repulsa by Elizabeth Banks outshine gile babeng smua pelakon maybe sebab die je yg paling hebat kat situ, yg rata2 pelakon baru nak up. Power Rangers Merah, merembes. Pink pun cantik, sesuai. Biru nigga nerd tp kire pak lawak dlm movie ni. Itam more to oriental. Kuning plak tomboy gila. Masing2 ade peranan trsendiri cuma Yellow and Black agak kurang menyerlah dari segi acting. Costume |

Trini(pr kuning)yg asal asian, zack(pr hitam) yg asal nigga. Jadi isu panas di usa hal ni dulu2 sebab di anggap racist pakai suit warna ikut kulit kaum masing2
Jadi yg movie 2017 ni yg kuning tu latino, yg hitam tu asian. Kena tukar sebab tak nak timbul isu racist |

baru je balik tgk Power Rangers lunch tadi.. OKla, tp idokler gempak sangat.. and some part memang agak slow. maybe sebab dorg baru je discovered yg dorg ada superpower and baru nak setup2 team camtu.. and si Rita yg jahat tu pun tak berapa nak hidup sgt wataknya.. cam tak menarik, suara pun tak kuat lontaran.. rasanya cam akan ada sequel.. |
