Up to five European heavyweights have joined in the hunt for Arsenal抯 Alexander Hleb
Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan, Inter Milan and now Juventus have all expressed their interest in the 29 year old Belarusian
The favourites appear to be Barcelona who are prepared to outbid all rivals and meet the players wage demands, though Real Madrid are stepping up efforts.
Real Madrid who finally appear to have given up any hope of a sensational snatch of Man Utd star Ronaldo have turned their attention now to Hleb and they rarely fail once they smell an opportunity, this time however they may be thwarted by Barcelona who it is reported in Spain have already approached Arsenal
Hleb originally would have liked to have gone to Italy but with AC Milan out of the champions league, Inter likely to appoint Mourinho and Juventus unable to meet his wage demands the Spanish duo of Barcelona and Real Madrid look to be his favoured destination.
Arsenal have history of selling players to both clubs at inflated prices and will be keen to offload a player that has made it clear he no longer wants to stay at the Emirates.
Arsenal are happy to sit back and see what offers come in but it will be down to the player in the end and that end looks likely to be much sooner than expected.
