Citi Caférecently came up with the new Thai buffet dinner menu, commencing on9th May 2008 which is only available on Friday nights. For RM 45 nett(adult) and RM 22.50 nett (child), you can help yourself with asumptuous array of Thai dishes from 7pm till 10pm. Let’s see some ofthe new dishes which are available for the Thai buffet spread:

Fried Stuffed Prawn Wrapped in Wantan Skin (Kung Hom Sabai)
Other than the old time favourite Som Tam Malakor (Papaya Salad with Dried Shrimp and Peanut), you can find Kung Hom Sabai (Fried Stuffed Prawn Wrapped in Wantan Skin) a new dish, made from deep fried prawn wrapped in wantan skin. Best eaten warm with Thai chilli sauce as it might get a little soggy when cold.
Spicy Prawn Soup (Tom Yam Kung)
Your Thai gastronomic experience wouldn’t be complete without Tom Yam Kung(Spicy Prawn Soup). The tangy spicy soup, brimming with fresh prawns issimply appetizing, a good start to perk up your appetite.
Pan Fried Salmon with Young Mango (Yaang Pla Salmon Kap Ma Maoung)
If you’re not a spicy food hardcore fan, perhaps you can try out the Yaang Pla Salmon Kap Ma Maoung (Pan Fried Salmon with Young Mango) or Pet Thot Sot Sai(Baked Stuffed Duck). The salmon fillet is pan friend to perfection,which still retain its succulent flesh, served with shredded youngmango strips and Thai chilli sauce. The stuffed duck on the other hand,I would say it’s an acquired taste where some people might not like itas one of the ingredients is liver.
Baked Stuffed Duck (Pet Thot Sot Sai)
The chef prepares this with cubed chicken liver, minced chicken meat,eggs, onions and seasonings. All ingredients are mixed together, spreadthem on a de-boned duck skin, rolled up and baked in the oven.
Green Curry Chicken (Gaeng Kiew Wan Gai)
We equally like the Gaeng Kiew Wan Gai (Green Curry Chicken) which is spicy, flavourful with succulent chicken pieces in thick, creamy green curry gravy. Plaa Kraphong Neung Manoa(Steamed Seabass with Lime Sauce) is also a good pick, being the fishis fresh, steamed with sourish lime sauce, sliced mushrooms, chilli,ginger and garlic.

Seafood Souffle in Banana Leaves (Hor Mok Thalay)
The Hor Mok Thalay (Seafood Soufflé in Banana Leaves) is not the usual otak-otakyou can find in Malay eateries, but rather a combination of minced fishwith prawns, curry paste, egg and seasonings, steamed and garnishedwith thick coconut cream on top. Certainly something fresh anddifferent from the usual otak-otak! If you fancy preparing yourown food or wanna try out your skill, you can do so at the “ActionStall”. Customers get to cook their version of seafood noodle, steamedrice pancake or Gai Sa-Te (Chicken Satay) with cucumber relish.

Baked Pumpkin Custard (Fukthong Sankaya)
For dessert, Fukthong Sankaya (Baked PumpkinCustard) is suitable for those who prefer something not-so-sweet; thebeaten eggs and sugar mixture was strained first before poured into ahollowed whole pumpkin for baking, hence the smooth texture of thecustard.
