3/3 Why Nadine left Edward
After her graduation in July, she had kept her promise to help him with his dissertation; it was a fun project for both of them. After his survey questionnaires had been approved by his supervisor, she had helped him approach respondents for answers. At the same time he had to do a 2 month抯 internship program with a local company as part of his MBA module. As she was assisting him in typing, his dissertation was ready in a short time, he was given until end of middle September but by the first week he had submitted the dissertation and had managed to have his viva earlier. They wanted to fly back by the end of September as they wanted to help her mother in organising their marriage in December; also she was determined to find a job prior to their marriage.
One week before their flight back, he was invited to join the Company he had been interning for a weekend family day. At first he was reluctant to go as he has his viva the following week but she had convinced him that he is prepared and he should socialize with his colleagues for one last time. He wanted her to follow him, 揘ad, join me please. |
