cik mod... I do love Anne of Green Gables.. membesar dgn buku-buku dari Lucy Maud Montgomery.. settingnya, ambiencenye, peoplenye.. I love the old English potrayed, scenerynya.. yang TV series based on cerita ni pun sedap kan, very beautiful the setting.. rasa cam dreamy eyes pulak bila bayangkan bestnya jadi Anne atau Gilbert.. aduhai!!

heya KRUfan ... i've read ain't she sweet .. i like match me if u can better ... ain't she sweet seemed a bit dark when i read it ... too many bitterness ... the latest book is full of fun and witty scenes that really makes me laugh |

whereas ain't she sweet ni is a stand alone story ... mcm saya da bace suma chacago stars series ni rasa seronok baca match me if you can ni pasal kita dpt tau perkembangan watak2 dlm chicago stars series ...
i tak baper gemar SEP's plots dlm ain't she sweet and breathing room psl pd saya heroin2nya agak wilder in their characteristics dan mcm she over written their wild characters. but i like her humour and sarcasm in both books. |

Baru habis baca buku ini hasil dari penulis Cecelia Ahern (P/S I Love You)
Novel ini agak menarik kerana ia di tulis dalam bentuk mesej-mesej/nota-nota dari internet chatting/ personal message, surat, dsb.
Ia mengesahkan perjalanan hidup dua sahabat baik "soul mate" Alex Stewart dan Rosie Dunne dari umur 7 tahun hingga ke 50 tahun. Gaya penulisan dan bahasa yg mudah membuatkan aku dpt menghabiskan novel ini dlm masa dua hari sahaja (566 pages, mind you)
This book is fabulous! It's my favourite novel lately and I can just recommend this book to everybody liking humour as well as heartshattering stories...
Well, why this book is one of my favourites:
Alex Steward and his best friend Rosie are growing up together. Their connection is strong enough to stay years and years of pain, luck and the most irritating thing... fate. When he moves to Boston one year before graduating at High school,Rosie can be hardly happy. When Alex is supposed to come over for the debs ball, something keeps him at home. But that night should change Rosie's life. The hotel - fanatic girl planned to move over to Alex in Boston, where the two of them wanted to study. Instead Rosie becomes pregnant and nine month later little Katie is born.
What I can report now is - without telling the whole story - is that Alex is getting married twice and Rosie once. And though, through all those years they loved each other with all their heart. They just had a bad timing.
At the end a small surprise waits for the reader, a surprise that perhaps nobody would have expected and I do not mean the final love meeting between Alex and Rosie, but find out yourself and feel the joy of being taken onto a rollercoaster of emotion.
Don't be surprised, the book includes a lot of emails,letters, etc...
Have loads of fun with WHERE RAINBOWS END!!! |

tgh baca... wow mom. dapat dlm goodie bag masa women summit 2005 semlm. penulis : vasanthi ramachandran. setkt 45 ms penulis buku berkongsi pengalaman dalam membesarkan anak dan cabaran jadi ibu zmn skrg. ditulis dalam bahasa inggeri dan kaedah penulisannya ringkas, mudah menarik. |
