manik manik macam tu memang tak jumap kat sini. Actually banyak baking stuff yg susah nak jumpa. Cake flour and self rising flour for example.

Ni lar gambar lama masa tengah rajin mencuba resepi terbaru from board masak2.

Ini gambar tart -- tengoklah saya punya acuan tu mcm mcm bentuk .. la ni terperap dlm laci. Bawah pulak gambar roti. Sekarang malas nak buat sebab cuaca still sejuk nanti adunan tak naik

Selalunya kalau cuaca sejuk, I perap doh depan tv or tak jauh dari heater. So far so good. Doh naik macam biasa.

Mallan I nak tanya pasal buat fondant. Dalam resipi kat blog you tu ada letak 2 tbsp glucose, kalau glucose powder pulak nak kira macam mana? glycerin pun ada jumpa. Pharmacy tu cakap, selalunya orang guna ni kalau kena mouth ulcer..betul ke yang I beli ni?

Lepas tu kek, sedap guna kek apa ya?
Sebelum letak fondant, kena sapu apa-apa tak?
Kena uli pakai tangan aje ke..
Kalau kita buat awal, kena wrap lepas tu simpan kat mana? Dalam almari / peti ais?

Glycerin tu lah. Asalkan selamat utk sapu kat mulut, mmg selamat lah makan. I pun pakai yg ni je.

Cake yg elok utk di fondant ialah cake yg dense, berat dan padat ie marble/buttercake, fruitcake. choc cake kalau yg padat tu boleh. Tapi selalunye I pakai normal marble or buttercake. Marble tu pun sbb I campurkan koko kat 1/2 of my buttercake mixture.

Sblm letak fondant kena sapu buttercream icing atau glazing. I tak pernah bubuh buttercream sbb leceh. Glazing yg I selalu pakai pun just a shortcut. icing sugar dan air. Air tu agak2 banyaknye. Bila tgk mcm glue dan boleh di sapu kat kek, kiranye ok lah. Kalau you nak tampal flat fondat decoration kat atas fondant base you, you boleh pakai glazing tu jugak. Glaze ni mcm glue lah. Edible glue.

Tapi kalau you nak buat yg proper glazing boleh ikut recipe ni.

APRICOT GLAZE

1 1/2 cups apricot preserves
1/2 cup sugar

In medium saucepan, combine preserves, sugar, and 1/2 cup water; bring to boiling over medium heat. Boil, stirring, 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Press through sieve into bowl.

I selalunye uli ngan tangan je. Tapi make sure yg gelatine n glucose mixture tu suam2 sebelum kena campur ngan your icing sugar.Kacau dulu ngan wooden spoon.  Kalau tak nanti hangus lak tangan you. Senang uli ngan tangan bila sejuk sbb you boleh rasa texture dia. Kalau sticky, add more icing sugar, kalau too hard, letak air sikit.

Tak yah letak dlm fridge. I selalunye simpan je container tu dlm my pantry. Bila dah ready nak pakai, just uli balik kalau dia keras utk melembutkan dia.

Plat, rajin you baking ya, tukang makan pun ramai...I ni dah nak gantung apron..nak naknya sekarang ni asyik tak sihat je tapi hari ni terpaksa merajinkan diri jugak buat doughnuts..

Sedap nampaknya you punya cheesecake. I masih belum cuba lagi sebab sekarang ni tengah sibuk mengarang menu untuk party louisa nanti. Ingat nak buat pizza + sausage rolls untuk kids, nasi briyani + dalca daging + acar timun + karipap untuk adults.

Semalam buat nasi lemak untuk brunch..as usual kalau my hb mintak nasi lemak kena ada rendang daging & bergedil, kalau takda dia cakap macam tak cukup pulak lauk tu..

Meriahnya lauk untuk nasi lemak you Cali. Dah la beberapa hari ni I tak makan nasi. Asyik masak yang lelain aje. Berkeriuk perut I tgk nasi lemak tu...
