WARNING

prepare to see sad pics....   T_T
the whole sad events~~
if u look at these pic and at the same time listen to Dan & Beam special song for him...i'm sure u will cry...   >cry<

This is the week he got into accident..he was in coma for days...

Big woke up from coma...everybody thought he'll get back to sing after a few weeks..he even wrote to his fans saying he is ok...and wait for him to come back..

the fans were all happy..(including me) Big said not to worry about his health..

His parents...
at that time, he was preparing to get home..

BUT....after complaining he had headache ..
he fell into coma. He was in critical..
the doctor said there's this fungus (forgot what it is) in his brain so they need to do some surgery.

Dan & Beam performing their song Dan wrote for Big on this day of the biggest free concert of the year. The most emotional performance everrrrr because Big was in his most critical condition and no one knew if he'd make it. It was the best performance that day. You can say that atleast 70%-80% or even 100% of those who attended were just there to support p'Dan and p'Beam. It'd tear you up, even if you didn't know d2b...

Beam enters monkhood (30 days) for his parents and for Big.

This was last year pic , i think..
it was on Big's Bday...
see how Beam hold Big's hand?  T_T
-----I抣l be holding your hand-------

i'll always remember what Dan and Beam said...
"D2B hasn't ended yet. If Big returns, we'll be back!"

For now...Big is ok..
we just have to wait for another miracle to happen...
he went through so many obstacles before so he must fight for his life...
though it might take years, i will always wait for the day D2B will return!

P'Big ka~ Chun ruk khun mak mak ka!!

The 3 year Anniversay of Big's Accident
Waiting on one last miracle!

One last miracle for Big D2B

On the 22nd July was the 3rd year anniversary of Big抯 accident. Since the unpredictable tragedy, from the day the doctors revealed he has only 0.01% chance of recovery, but everyone was still praying for him to wake up and when he opened his eyes, it was a miracle. Even though his body was unable to move due to his brain that got damaged by the horrible disease, but he was still breathing the breath of hope. The breath that is not just the test of his own battle, but it's also the test of love from his parents, who would never give up on their son, not even for a minute!

In the past 3 years, Koon Par Udon Kitthikornchareon took close care of Big. He wakes up at 5 am every morning and goes to bed at 9pm every night. As for Koon Mae Yupa, she takes care of business and the house work.

Neither of them would ever complain, even at their weakest, they never looked back and blamed their fate.

揑t was an accident that was unavoidable. And now that it抯 happened, we have to be strong and accept the situation. We shouldn抰 use our emotions or place the blame on anything. You just have to accept and take care of him as best as you can. You can抰 give up, even when your body is tired, you have to be calm and keep fighting. Even if it takes 5 to 10 years, we still have to do it, we still have to care for him like this and we抮e ready to aid his recovery

TOP OF THE POPS
Bangkokpost : 2 Aug 2006

Brothers Golf/Mike are the flavour of the moment - but it took a lot of hard work to get there and it's going to take a lot more hard work to stay there. For now, they're just taking it as it comes
STORY BY ONSIRI PRAVATTIYAGUL, PHOTO BY YINGYONG UN-ANONGRAK

In the sea of glittering show business, with talent show contests and star search "reality" shows popping up north and south, there is a surplus of young, hopeful popsters.

In a country where appearances can be a shortcut to success, there has always been a bevy of eye candy being shoved in our faces by record companies. But these days, given the state of the economy and the increasingly unstable music market, not all heartthrobs make it to the big time. They come, they see - but they don't conquer.

There are exceptions, though, like the hot pop brother duo, Pichaya and Pirat Nitipaisalkul, better known as Golf/Mike. The teenagers have taken the youth market by storm with their self-titled debut, a pop dance album with a touch of hip hop that was released in November of last year, and which features the hit Bounce and their mind-boggling signature basketball dance.

It wasn't easy getting a one-hour interview with the boys thanks to their busy schedules and tremendous popularity. If you doubt their popularity, just ask any of their starry-eyed fans. Think Bay City Rollers. Think New Kids On the Block. Think Take That.

You get the picture; 19-year-old Golf and 16-year-old Mike certainly do.

"We don't get annoyed with our fans at all. But sometimes we get rather thrown off having people liking us and following us around. Just the other day, there was a girl that was trying to follow me into the bathroom, so I asked her to wait outside," said older brother Golf. "Sometimes I get people waiting outside of the bathroom with mobile phone cameras - maybe they want to take my picture going in and out of the toilet!" added Mike.

Their popularity is not limited to the loo. It wouldn't be much fun shopping with Golf and Mike as you'd probably have fans trailing after you, taking snapshots left and right.

Then again, they don't seem to have time to dawdle around shopping malls anyway. "We're quite busy. Sometimes I wish I had a clone of myself!" said Mike, adding that their days are usually filled with appearances, interviews, gigs and recording sessions.

"When we have free time, we usually sleep. But you know, it feels so strange when we don't have anything to do, and we have to stay home. I mean, I get tired, but it's good to be working," he said.

As seen on TV, they have dyed, layered hair, full make-up and are wearing a tinge of Japanese and hip hop fashion gear.

Golf and Mike exude the air of youth that can't be easily hidden no matter how hard they have been working with adults. They walk with unabashed confidence, detached compliance and a sense of self disaffection that you normally detect in shopping mall rats.

Golf talks in a respectable, controlled tone, rather professional-like, and keeps eye contact, while Mike appears less gung ho and slightly fidgety, yet well mannered, as you would expect from a person his age. But when the cameras start clicking, they are immediately "on", no urging required.

Golf and Mike knew what it would take to make it in the business: Their two older brothers did it in the late '90s, performing as a brother duo called Sand/Bank. They are 25 and 22 now respectively, and their success served as an inspiration for their younger brothers.

"I remember watching my brothers perform. We really wanted to be like them. We used to copy their dance moves and sing their songs all the time," said Golf.

They got their wish when Golf turned 14 and Mike was 11.

Mind you, it wasn't prompted by pushy parents wanting to make buckets of baht off their good-looking children. Coming from a well-heeled family, Golf and Mike, international school students, didn't have to do it for the money. They enrolled in a Grammy GMM artist development initiative called G Junior, in which aspiring youngsters are selected and trained in the hopes of their becoming future artists.

"We knew of the programme from an acquaintance. I thought it was better than sitting around at home. We didn't do anything except play video games anyway," said Mike.

The course turned out to be quite demanding: Participants had to undergo dance, singing, acting and personality classes along with a fitness regime for one year. Golf and Mike would rush to Grammy after their academic classes; they only got Thursdays and Sundays off.

After the year was over, each student had to concentrate on what they had excelled at. Golf and Mike took the dancing path. Then the big audition beckoned. Only those selected would have the chance to release an album. Of course, Golf and Mike passed, but it took their first album three years to surface.

"We recorded over 20 songs, when we would only use 10. We were growing up and they had to change the songs too. We redid things over and over again," said Golf. "It was frustrating. Everything was scrapped, at one point, and there were only two songs left. People might think it was easy as we were just singing, but let me tell you, it was very difficult. I felt terrible. I was quite upset, but my parents explained that they wanted our album to be the best, so they made changes," said Mike.

"Well, I think it was for the best that it came out when it did because it wouldn't have been good to just release an album without changing things around," Golf said.

To their surprise, the reception was overwhelming. At first, they couldn't believe that star status could be achieved so quickly. Both said they had never expected to be so successful.

For them, success wasn't just sales numbers or popularity, but also a chance to work with Japanese mega popstars such as Tackey and Tsubasa, News and Arashi - they will soon perform with Arashi in Thailand.

With their apparent kawa-i (cute) factor and big round eyes, it's easy to see why they would be given a chance to tap into the J-pop-oriented market. And the established relationships between G Junior and its Japanese counterpart, Johnny's Juniors, also helps. The boys have been jetting back and forth from Thailand and Japan, their favourite country. The have also recorded a Japanese song, Epilogue.

With fame comes the inevitable lack of personal time. Although Golf and Mike enjoy and love what they are doing, they are also feeling the pinch, less on the physical side, more on the social side.

"We don't really get to spend time with our friends, especially now that we've put school on hold. We'll finish our studies - we plan to go back to school very soon - but that means we'll miss graduating with our friends. If there's a regret, that's it.

"I wish I could spend more time hanging out, but there's no use complaining because we're also happy to be doing this," said Golf.

When they do get some private time, they are hounded by the paparazzi. As a new craze in Thailand, stars are being pictured and receiving write-ups on suspected relationships or other unlikely behaviours to feed the public need for gossip. There's no way for Golf and Mike to escape the gossip magazine column inches. There are rumours that both brothers are dating famous stars.

Mike is a tad agitated about the subject.

"You know, if I go somewhere with a man, they'll say I was gay. If I walk around with a girl, they'll say 'girlfriend'. If I'm by myself, they'll say I have no friends. Even my company appointed escort gets mistaken as my sugar daddy. It's all very strange. But I don't blame anyone, really. I've made a decision to do this job, so I can only blame myself," said Mike.

But paparazzi stalking and rumour mills don't cause as much hurt as negative criticisms and personal attacks. In a way, it's almost impossible for singers of Golf and Mike's stature to dodge nasty words - it happens to the best. There has been much backlash on the brother's musicality ("should be trashed immediately"), dance moves ("idiotic") and fashion sense ("Japanese wannabes"). In some quarters, they are looked down upon as another manufactured product dreamed up by a major record company.

The naysayers make themselves heard, whether on the Internet or via the print media.

All musicians are, of course, open targets for verbal onslaughts, which is not to say it doesn't hurt. And when they're this young, not yet properly immune to the ways of the world, the wounds cut deeper.

"At first we didn't care, but then it became more and more. Sometimes I don't understand why they have to be so harsh with us. They call us J-pop copycats when our music is actually more Western. They make fun of our hair," said Golf. "There's nothing Japanese about our hair. Our mother cuts our hair, so it's very Thai," Mike added.

"Some people think that we didn't work hard to get where we are, but we did, and we do. Some people haven't listened to us or seen us perform, yet they have already formed an opinion about us. But I try to understand that we can't make everyone love us," Golf said.

The criticism has turned into an impetus for the brothers to improve.

They are now in the process of recording a follow-up album. They've submitted lyrics for one song, which has just been given the green light. To say that they're proud is an understatement.

"They didn't ask us to contribute anything, but we just wanted to do it. We wanted to try and write more songs in the future," said Golf.

The second album, they said, will be stronger and more representative of their personalities. It will come out later this year.

And the future?

"We don't know how things will turn out, but we will try our best. Isn't that enough? We'll just take it as it comes," said Golf.
