hi dexa..i'm here and still kicking ..busy juggling with work and socializing ..(just kidding)..busy with my hectic schedule..

last week, i had my tasteless fried rice in muhibbah restaurant that is situated in taman tun dexa
and they used to served  tasty  chinese fried rice..

i guess as time goes by fried rice they serve became tasteless and a bit oily...i h

frust 'giler' because the restaurant was actually my late father's favourite restaurant..and we've been a regular there..

erk..okay enough with the tasteless fried rice and history of going to the restaurant..

dexa have you taken a placement test conducted by British Council? I thought of taking it since I intended to take IELTS..a placement test is done in order to identify your english level..if i'm not mistaken..I've read somewhere that IELTS is compulsary for taught master in UK..

Pls help me to correct my teaching reflection

  (1)

Induction  Set

The  lesson started with the induction set of a video clip to give an idea of what  students will go to learn on that day. I asked few questions to arise their attention. When i asked the last question "Meaning that what has been given to make the fan moveswhen the reaction between cold and hot water occurred?".Then i just gave the answer "energy". My students seems not really understand.

  (2)
Skill  of stimulus variation
During  teaching, I have tried to voice out my tone loudly. There was an attempting  to avoid a monotone voice. But overall, the tone still can抰 fully attracting  students attention

  (3)
Skill  of using whiteboard
During  20 minutes lesson, I had wisely used the whiteboard. I used it at both sides  for Activity 1 and for closure. When I divided the board to four columns in  activity 1, it has made it easier for the students to write down the answers.  Same for closure, I used the whole board to draw the concept map. Unfortunately,  my writing seems not really nice and not enough clear

to be read.

  (4)
Skill  of teaching-developing ideas
I  noticed when I try to give more explanation; I depended a lot on notes. Seems  like I don抰 have a concrete knowledge, but actually the idea obstructed sometimes  and gone when I feel nervous at first.

  (5)
Skill  of explaining and illustrating with examples
When  I explained the forms of energy, I used pictures to increase the students

Once upon a time, there was a kingdom called Far Far Away ruled by a king who reigned the kingdom peacefully and harmoniously.

One day, the kingdom was attacked by mysterious dust suspected to come from the nearest mountain.

The dust was flown by air and had caused a serious problem to the people. They had serious problem with their dirty laundry( i know u want to quote "kotoran degil"). Previously, they just used water for cleaning. Unfortunately, the method failed to work anymore.

The king fell sick for being carried away thinking overly about the problem. He wanted to help his people but it seemed that he was out of idea to think about it anymore

Little did the king & his insignificant little kingdom knew, that the entire world had been engulfed in a devastating global war, resulting in biological & nuclear warfare. Entire nations were torched, and some were totally in critical situation as biological warfare introducing newly modified strain of Ebola genetically engineered for warfare usage, had been used to systematic & destructive effects.

Within less than 12 hours, the king & the entire population of that hermit kingdom succumbed to the plague & died horrible death. Estimated figures put atleast 255 000 casualties all over the tiny kingdom. In the aftermath, United Nations approved nuclear bombing of the entire Far Far Away in order to wipe out the biological threat to humankind. By 07th July 20XX, Far Far Away was wiped off from the Earth map by nuclear strike.

The End.
