january aritu ai baru beli tiket flight .. mmg ada state phrase yang overbooking might happen .. mintak2 tak kena halao bila dah onboard nanti .. my journey on may.

Overbooking of flights
Airline flights may be overbooked to minimize the effect of “No Show “ passengers and
to allow the allocation of those seats to other passengers who are on the waiting list of
the intended flight. Although Qatar Airways diligently controls and makes every effort to
match the expected number of passengers who will appear for the flight with the
number of available seats there is a possibility that a seat may not be available on a
flight which a passenger has a confirmed reservation.
Whilst Qatar Airways extends all efforts to provide seats for confirmed bookings, no
absolute guarantee of availability of seats is given by the use of expressions
reservations, bookings, status OK and the timings related thereto. If the flight is
overbooked no one will be denied a seat until airline personnel first ask for volunteers
willing to give-up their reservation in exchange for a payment of the airlines’ choosing. If
there are not enough volunteers, the airline will deny boarding to other persons in
accordance with its particular boarding priority
. Qatar Airways has a Compensation Plan
for passengers with confirmed bookings who are denied boarding due to non-availability
of seats. Information on this plan is available on request at Check-in Counter.

last week..aku dr KL-Jb.. naik AA.. seat terdouble.. dah la flight penuh.. last2 salah sorang kena la dok mana2 kosong..nasib baik ade seat kosong lagi.. camne la diorg wat keje kan..

kalau qatar airways, staff priority selepas customer. Kecuali sesetengah staff ada priviledge boleh dapat jump seats, mcm pilot atau cabin crew ke.

Mase lima'17 aritu, 2 org member aku nek flite malindo dri subang ke langkawi. Mase menungggu utk boarding, ade staf malindo approah dieorg utk tukar seat dgn pegawai dari mane ntah. Pegawai tu dpat seat kt emergency door, so dia xnak & mntak tukar. Jadi 2 org member aku ni jadi mangsa. Staf malindo tu ckap, pegawai tu dah bayar lebih, so dia deserve utk tukar seat. Member plak jarang naik flite, so termangu2 la dieorg...setuju je lah utk tukar.

Aku berangin jer dengar citer dieorg. Aku pun jarang naik flite, so aku nk tya, betul ke staf airlines ade hak utk tukar2 seat cenggitu?

adakah konsep pembelian tiket kapal terbang seperti tiket keretapi di India? Takde seat? No problem! Atas train juga ada naik...chaiya chaiya chaiya!!! cuma kalau tukar konsep atas kapal terbang, dah jadi macam cite mission impossible...

Passangers yg beli guna discount tickets ada peluang besar kena kick out if flight overbooked. Is it true loyal airline passangers, chances to be picked are low?

Would like to see the full video what happened before the airport securities came. Unless passangers mengganggu kententeraman passangers lain or showing disruptive behavior, securities tak akan dragged them off the plane.
