Piolo Pascual learns to shoot guns for his teleserye with Angel Locsin

Nangningning ang 14th floor ng ELJ Building sa ABS-CBN last Sunday, September 23, dahil sa makikislap na bituin ng Star Magic sa kauna-unahang paglabas ng kanilang 2008 Catalogue. Pinangunahan ng pinakamalaking male star ng Star Magic na si Piolo Pascual ang launching ng naturang catalogue.
"Its really nice na once in a while magsama-sama kayo in an occasion like this," bungad ni Piolo sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
Binati namin si Piolo for his new haircut that night at agad namang nagpasalamat ang aktor.
"I had a haircut for the new show with Angel [Locsin]," sabi niya. "We're gonna start shooting next week. We've been going through a lot of training and workshops with Angel and the cast. I'm so excited to work with Angel because, finally, you know, it's happening already."
Right after ng Star Magic catalogue launch, kinagabihan naman ay ginanap ang story conference para sa kauna-unahang teleserye ni Angel with Piolo sa ABS-CBN, na may tentative title na La Loba Blanca. Nagsimula na silang mag-taping kahapon, September 24.
Nag-aral din daw bumaril si Piolo para sa teleserye nila ni Angel.
"First time kong pumutok ng baril. I've been like 200 grounds. Rifle, pistols, automatic... Lahat ng ginamit sa Mr. and Mrs.Smith. So, I'm just so excited because, you know, it's a big preparation for ABS-CBN," excited na sabi ni Piolo, na binanggit ang Hollywood film starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Mabilis daw natuto si Piolo na bumaril ayon sa mga nagturo sa kanya.
"Sabi nga, natural daw. I'm excited, you know, because it's a new character. It's a different role. Medyo nagpagupit din because I'm playing a cop, an agent. Medyo challenging. It's not just emotionally challenging but also physically challenging because ang dami naming action scenes. Ang dami naming mystery na isu-solve. Gosh, it's gonna ba an exciting show!" bulalas pa ng matinee idol.
Totoo ba na tutol ang kanyang ina na si Mommy Amelia na mag-aral siyang bumaril?
"Tinawagan ko nga ang Mommy ko. Sabi ko, 慚ommy, naputol ang kamay ko! Nabaril ko accidentally!' Nagalit sa akin... Actually, when I called her up sabi niya, 慉nak, alam mo na ang Boomerang [firing school]... Samahan kita pag gusto mong mag-shooting. Tuturuan kita.' Because my Mom used to shoot before when she was younger. So, she got so excited about the project," kuwento ni Piolo.
Bukod sa teleserye, may gagawin ding pelikula sina Angel at Piolo na isu-shoot nila abroad sa direksyon ni Rory Quintos. |

PMPC bares nominees in the 21st Star Awards for Television
