fitnah berleluasa...yang takder kena mengena pun dikaitkannya hanya kerana fitnah dahulu ...moga yang memfitnah dan menyokong fitnah hatinya tidak tenteram

Police confirm body in barrel was Morais
BY HARIZ MOHD AND KHAIRAH N.

- 16 SEPTEMBER 2015 @ 2:07 PM

SUBANG JAYA: Police confirmed that the human remains found inside a barrel in Subang Mewah, USJ 1 here earlier today belongs to the abducted deputy public prosecutor Kevin Anthony Morais.

Investigators probing the case, who was led to the swampy area by five suspects nabbed in Penang and Klang Valley yesterday, also found that a military doctor - whose corruption case was being prosecuted by Morais, was behind the victim's killing.

Federal police Criminal Investigation Department director Datuk Seri Mohmad Salleh said the suspects nabbed, including the doctor, were between age 22 and 52.

"Following leads found in the course of investigation into the DPP's abduction, police yesterday made a breakthrough where we nabbed five men in Penang and Klang Valley. "This morning, investigators were led by these suspects to this location at Jalan Subang 3, USJ where they dumped the victim's body.

"Police checks at the scene found a barrel submerged inside a swamp. After we broke open the barrel, police found human remains which was stuffed inside a gunny sack," he told reporters during a press conference at the scene earlier today. Police also arrested one of the suspects' wife and child during their operation.

However, Mohmad said police believe that they were not involved in the case. Mohmad said police believed that the doctor had hired the other suspects to abduct and murder Morais.

Police also seized more than RM32,000 in cash from the suspects, alongside a Mitsubishi Trition which police believed was used by the abductors to ram Morais' government-issue Proton Perdana before abducting him, and a Honda Accord.

Mohmad said investigators also found a purchase receipt of cement, gravels and sand, which was issued by a hardware store in USJ. "On the motive behind the DPP's murder, you can check on an ongoing corruption case at Shah Alam High Court involving a military doctor. "The victim was the prosecutor of this case.

However, I do not want to discuss the details as the case is still ongoing." Mohmad said police are expecting to make more arrests. He said the victim's remains were taken to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post-mortem, which is scheduled to start at 2pm today. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

SHAH ALAM: An army pathologist claimed trial in a Sessions Court here to unlawfully engaging in trade at Syarikat Genomed Sdn Bhd.

Col Dr R. Kunaseegaran, 50, was accused of the offence at Galeri Empire, Jalan Empayar off Persiaran Sultan Ibrahim KU1 in Klang on Jan 1, last year.

He was charged under Section 168 of the Penal Code that specified a public servant as legally bound not to engage in trade.

Dr Kunaseegaran, the pathology lab chief at Hospital Angkatan Tentera Tuanku Mizan, faces up to a year's jail or fine or both upon conviction.

Judge Mohamed Mokhzani Mokhtar fixed Dec 19 for mention.

In September, Dr Kunaseegaran had claimed trial to two bribery charges involving RM700,000 for allegedly recommending three companies to supply medicine and disposable medical tools to the hospital where he worked.

He is currently out on a RM100,000 bail.

DPP Kevin Morais told reporters that judge Mohamed Mokhzani allowed the previous RM100,000 bail to maintain in the case.
