The couple announced that they are dating in August of last year and will be holding their wedding on August 10. After their honeymoon, Lee Byung Hun will be preparing for his next movie and Lee Min Jung will also be continuing her work as an actress.

Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung's 'wedding of the century' is expected to draw hundreds of international journalists.
The couple will hold their wedding at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul on August 10. Although only 900 elite guests will be allowed into the ceremony venue, there are expected to be about 200 additional reporters.
According to an official, there have already been about 100 journalists who requested to be present at the event. Besides the reporters from Korea, the Japanese media, Chinese media, and American media are expected to show up. The official revealed, 'Although we have received many requests, we expect about a hundred various international medias to be there.' Also, 'Because we limited the number of people attending, we are expecting about 200 journalists.'
The couple has been receiving a lot of love from their fans since they officially announced they were dating last August. The couple has received even more attention since their wedding announcement in June.
Actor Lee Bum Soo and comedian Shin Dong Yup will be the MCs of the ceremony. The wedding will be officiated by actor Shin Young Kyun. The married couple will leave to Maldives for their honeymoon after the ceremony.
Recently Lee Byung Hun starred in his third Hollywood film, 'RED: The Legend,' and will be starting his next project after the honeymoon. Lee Min Jung plans to resume her acting as well.

Lee Byung-hun, Rhee Min-jung Walk Down the Aisle Today

Regardless of the pouring rain outside, Korean actors Lee Byung-hun and Rhee Min-jung were no doubt in high spirits on the day of their grand wedding ceremony. Lee could not wipe his broad smile off his face, while Rhee was glowing with beauty just like every other groom and bride in the world.
TenAsia met the newly-born couple at the press event before they walk down the aisle at a hotel in Seoul, Korea Saturday evening. This is what they had to say about the second chapter of their lives together and their firm wills to continue to pursue their lives as actors.
Q. Please give your first impression on the wedding day.
Lee Byung-hun: First of all, thank you all so much for coming here in this humid and rainy weather. Well, I still can’t believe that we are actually getting married. We are going to basically focus on living a happy life. This is the second chapter of our lives and I hope that we can appreciate even its smallest parts. Like I have always tried to live to the fullest in my profession, I will continue to do so in my personal life.
Q. You have been married in dramas and films before. How do you feel about getting married in your real life?
Rhee Min-jung: I feel like I’m attending the press event for my new TV series right now. I think it will actually hit me when the honeymoon is over and I move in to live with Byung-hun. I heard that if it rains on your wedding day, you will live a good life. So since it was thundering all morning, I think we could live very happily. (laughs)
Q: Have you talked about the size of your family?
Lee: No, we haven’t talked about kids yet. But whatever the number will be, I’ll be grateful to have them.
Q: Who will be in charge of the cost of living?
Lee: I know it sounds doubtful but we haven’t talk about it yet. I think we will take care of each of our income individually. But I’m really bad at that stuff so I think I’ll ask Min-jung for advice and ask her to help me out.
Q: As being the two top stars in Korea, what kind of husband and wife do you want to be?
Lee: I’ve come to think about it before and shared my thoughts with Min-jung. The fact that everyone knows about us is something to be thankful for but there could be down sides and troubles with it. We have went through both big joys and sorrows in our separate lives, and we promised to find our own happiness together in the smallest things.
We may have lived a life familiar to big stuff but insensitive to little joy that life gives us, so we want to be people who are satisfied with small things.
Q. Tell us about how you picked Rhee’s wedding dress together.
Lee: She insisted that a wedding dress should be chosen by the bride alone and shown to the groom for the first time on the day of wedding, which made the groom fall in love with his fiancee again. But when Min-jung went to pick up her wedding dress, she took pictures of herself in a wedding dress and sent me all those photos. I didn’t say much, I just told her that it’s pretty. (laughs)
Q: Tell us about how Lee Byung-hun popped the question.
Rhee: Byung-hun showed me a video that he starred in and produced in the movie theater. I’m a quick thinker so when he told me in the middle of the movie that he had to go to the bathroom, I sort of knew that he was up to something. But after I watched the video, I cried until my eyes were all swollen.
Q: After you get married, will you live with your parents?
Lee: My mom lives alone far from Seoul so Min-jung agreed to live with her, which I thank her so much for. On the other hand, Min-jung’s parents live right in the center of Seoul so whenever there is free time between my filming sessions, I’ll stop by.
Rhee: (With a nod of approval) I’ll allow that. (laughs)
Q: What will your next move as actors? If both of you are cast in the same project, will you take it on?
Lee: As I said, our lives as actors will be the same. If I come across a new project, I will put my head into the character as always and so will Min-jung. And, I can’t really imagine us being in the same project together. (Laughs)
Rhee: He is saying that because he draws a distinctive line between his personal stuff and professional work. If there is a new project, I always talked about it with my friends, family members and my agency. But now I’ll be likely to talk about it with my husband first hand.
Q: Who will be singing for your wedding?
Lee: Singer Lena Park will be singing at our wedding and singer Kim Bum-soo will also be singing a song, both of which are meaningful to me and Min-jung. Hip-hop group and Min-jung’s friends Dynamic Duo will also be singing for the finale.
Q: Is there something you want to say before the ceremony?
Rhee: Today is such a good day but I think what comes next is more important. I will try to set a good example both as a wife and as an actress.
Lee: Thank you for visiting and showing your support for our marriage. I will also do my best to be a responsible head of household and an actor. I also want to thank the fans for coming to our wedding and I will do my best not to disappoint them.

South Korean actor Lee Byung-Hun tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Lee Min-Jung.
TOP South Korean movie star Lee Byung-Hun, one of the best known faces of the “Korean Wave” of popular culture, married actress Lee Min-Jung on Saturday.
The 43-year-old actor, who starred in last year’s blockbuster costume drama Masquerade, told reporters the wedding was “a dream come true” shortly before tying the knot with longtime girlfriend Min-Jung.
“There was thunder and lightning this morning. There is an old saying that thunder and lightning are a good sign for newlyweds. We will do our best to live a long, happy life“, the bride said.
Byung-Hun is well known as the star of a number of popular television dramas, including the spy series Iris, as well as for his films.
His role as a swashbuckling gambler in the pan-Asian hit series All In has earned him a particularly devoted following in Japan.
As well as Masquerade, which swept last year’s national film awards in South Korea, Byung-Hun starred in the 2000 hit Joint Security Area and this year he reprised his role as the villainous ninja Storm Shadow in the Hollywood action blockbuster G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
He also features in the currently showing Hollywood action comedy Red 2 starring Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren.

Top actor Lee Byung-hun married actress Lee Min-jung in a highly anticipated wedding ceremony in Seoul, Saturday.
Their wedding took place at the Grand Hyatt Seoul on Mt. Nam in central Seoul, with about 900 guests and some 100 reporters in attendance. Hundreds of fans from home and abroad thronged the hotel lobby ahead of the ceremony.
With senior actor Shin Young-kyun officiating the wedding, the first session of the event was hosted by actor Lee Bum-soo, and the second part by comedian Shin Dong-yup.
“There were so many pleasant and tough experiences in both of our lives. I will appreciate life's small joys,” the 43-year-old groom told reporters in a news conference before the wedding.
The 31-year-old bride said she was surprised to see rain and thunderstorms in the morning. “There's a saying that rain (on the day of the wedding) is a good sign. I hope we have a happy marriage,” she said.
They are set to depart for the Maldives on Monday for their honeymoon.
Asked about possible plans for a family, the groom said, “We haven’t made any plans regarding children yet. Regardless of how many, we will take care of each child with a great sense of gratitude.” Rumors have it that actress Lee is already pregnant, but her management agency has strongly denied it.
The couple reportedly first met in 2006 through an acquaintance, and confirmed their relationship in August.
Lee has starred in Hollywood action films such as “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” (2013), “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” (2009), as well as several Korean movies and soap operas of different genres. He co-starred in another Hollywood blockbuster “Red 2,” starring Bruce Willis and Catherine Zeta-Jones, which was released in mid-July.

South Korean actor Lee Byung-hun tied the knot with actress Lee Min-jung on Saturday after seven years of dating.
About 900 guests, mostly close friends and film industry figures, were in attendance including actor Jang Dong-gun and director Kim Ji-woon. Hundreds of fans from Japan and other countries also gathered to catch a glimpse of the stars at the lobby of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul, where the ceremony took place.
Ahead of the private wedding ceremony, the high-profile couple gave their thoughts at a press conference for some 100 local and foreign reporters.

“I will live a full life every day and set happiness as the ultimate goal,” the 43-year-old groom said while holding the bride’s hand. “This is the beginning of the second chapter of my life. I can’t predict any upcoming events but I will appreciate life’s small joys.”
Hollywood celebrities such as Bruce Willis and Catherine Zeta-Jones who worked with the groom in blockbuster “Red 2,” which was released in mid-July, sent video messages to celebrate the wedding.
Lee is the first Asian to have his hand- and footprints in the forecourt of Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

Lee Byung-hun and Lee Min-jung tied the knot on Saturday, giving Korea another Brangelina couple to take a peep at. The couple said they will enjoy each other’s company, rather than their stardom.
Lee Byung-hun, the 43-year-old emerging Hollywood star of action films “G.I. Joe” and “Red 2,” married the 31-year-old actress, his girlfriend of seven years, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Hannam-dong, Seoul.
“We once said to each other that we would pursue a trivial happiness together,” Lee Byung-hun told a pre-wedding press conference. “We have followed through a career in which we might have been used to something grandeur, not trivial, but we would like to live like a couple feeling happiness from trivial things.”
Veteran actor Shin Young-kyun officiated the closed-door wedding with actor Lee Beom-soo and comedian Shin Dong-yeop serving as MCs for the two-part ceremony, according to Lee Byung-hun’s agency, BH Entertainment. Singers Park Jung-hyun, Kim Bum-soo and Dynamic Duo sang the celebratory songs in front of about 900 guests.
Many celebrity couples came to the wedding, including the couples of Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young; Kwon Sang-woo and Son Tae-young; Yoo Ji-tae and Kim Hyo-jin; and Yeon Jung-hoon and Ha Ga-in.
Lee Byung-hun and Lee Min-jung said they will continue to pursue their acting careers. The couple leaves for the Maldives today on a honeymoon.

Star couple Lee Byung-hoon and Lee Min-jung tied the knot in Seoul on Saturday.
In a press event before the wedding ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, the groom said he couldn't afford much time to prepare for the wedding due to promotional commitments linked to his latest Hollywood blockbuster, "Red 2," as well as obligations concerning his next movie. But he added that he is looking forward to being a devoted husband.

"I feel like I'm at a sort of press event or something like that. I guess it will only really sink in that we're married when my husband and I move into our new place in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province," the bride said.
When asked how many children they plan to have, the groom replied, "We haven't talked about it. But it will be a blessing to have kids, regardless of how many."
They are set to head to the Maldives on Monday for their honeymoon.

KIRA-KIRA 900 tetamu daripada kalangan penggiat seni hadir memeriahkan majlis perkahwinan aktor Lee Byung Hun dan aktres Lee Min Jung yang berlangsung di Hotel Grand Hyatt, Seoul pada 10 Ogos lalu.
Antara tetamu yang hadir adalah Kim Bum, Kim Tae Hee, So Ji Sub, Song Seung Hun, Go Ara, Jung Woo Sung dan Han Hyo Joo. Majlis itu dikatakan ibarat sebuah festival filem.
Ikrar perkahwinan pasangan yang berlakon dalam filem Hollywood, Red 2 dan drama Everything About My Relationship itu disempurnakan oleh aktor Shin Young Kyun. Sementara aktor Lee Bum Soo dan pelakon komedi Shing Dong Yup bertindak sebagai juruacara untuk majlis tertutup itu.
Dalam pada itu, Park Jung Hyun, Kim Bum Soo, Park Sun Joo dan kumpulan hip hop Dynamic Duo yang merupakan kawan Lee Min Jung turut menghiburkan para tetamu yang hadir.
Dilaporkan, Lee Byung Hun dan Lee Min Jung memilih untuk berbulan madu di kepulauan Maldives seperti yang dilakukan oleh pengantin baru Sunye (Wonder Girls) dan aktor Shin Hyeon-joon, pelakon drama Stairway to Heaven.
Sebelum majlis perkahwinan yang berlangsung dalam suasana meriah itu, Lee Byung Hun sempat menyuarakan isi hatinya terhadap Lee Min Jung dalam bentuk filem pendek.
Pelakon filem Red: The Legend itu telah menayangkan filem tersebut untuk tontonan rakan rapat dan di akhir filem, turut disertakan klip video dia melamar Lee Min Jung.
Tindakan Lee Byung Hun yang romantik itu membuatkan Lee Min Jung menitiskan air mata kerana terharu.
Difahamkan selepas kembali daripada berbulan madu, pasangan itu akan menetap di rumah Lee Byung Hun di bandar Gwangju.
“Rumah kami tidak jauh dari Seoul, kira-kira 40 hingga 50 minit sahaja. Ibu saya tinggal di situ seorang diri dan Lee Min Jung bersetuju untuk menetap bersama di situ," jelas Lee Byung Hun sewaktu sidang akhbar.
Rupa-rupanya di rumah tiga tingkat berbentuk muzium kesenian itulah pasangan ini bertemu janji sewaktu bercinta.
Menurut seorang ejen hartanah, rumah tersebut bernilai kira-kira RM9 juta dan kerja-kerja pengubahsuaian yang dilakukan menelan kos yang besar.
“Lokasi rumah itu memang menarik, kira-kira 30 minit untuk ke Gangnam, Seoul," kata ejen hartanah berkenaan.
Selepas selesai berbulan madu, Lee Byung Hun akan kembali sibuk menjalani penggambaran filem A Touch of Zen dan Lee Min Jung pula sibuk dengan projek terbarunya. |

Lee Min jung to release additional images from her wedding pictorial with ELLE magazine

With fashion magazine ELLE, actress Lee Min jung revealed her wedding pictorial and behind stories from her wedding. Previously, Lee’s image of wearing a mini dress was released and it had become an issue on internet. With ELLE, she released additional pictorial.
From the additional pictorial, Lee is wearing a beautiful wedding gown and a veil. On top of her she is holding a crown. She looks like a princess in her pictorial.
Also from the interview, Lee talked about her marriage with actor Lee Byung hun. ELLE asked if she feels she met a husband and actor who can give advises for her and Lee answered “As an actor, I have lot to learn from him.”
She also talked about her episode of marriage proposal. After reading Lee Byung hun’s interview from August issue of ELLE that he does not understand why he have to make a proposal, she wasn’t happy. However, she did receive heart warming proposal infront of her family members. “I could feel his sincere thoughts and feelings. I couldn’t help myself from crying.”
