Eboue and Nikki to stay / No news on Arshavin / Ledley the new signing?
I mean how long does it take to do a deal, We’ll give you £12mil, no we want £18mil, ok we’ll give you £13mil, no we want £18mil, so you get where I’m coming from, you either pay it or you accept it and that’s it, I don’t understand? What can possibly make this fiasco keep rolling???
Still nothing to report, which means today will be the day we sign him!
Other news is we turned down a bid for Eboue from Athletico Madrid, someone was mad here, them for wanting him or us for not selling him, not quite sure which yet but to be honest, I’m happy with keeping him as cover for Sagna, but that’s it.
Nikki turned down Hoffenheim, the Bundesliga leaders, no surprise there but again I’m happy as I think he will be our modern day John Hartson, no Henry, but reliable when needed.
Not really a big news day but there was talk of us signing Joe Ledley from Cardiff, he’s a winger and up there with Ramsey apparently, I’m not sure, but I have seen him play for Wales and he did look a prospect, but again, a prospect, I would like to see us sign one or two ready mades so I hope he springs a surprise or two on us soon, we are beginning to run out of transfer window and I am getting a little twitchy.
Only two more days to go before Cardiff, and we at least will get to see Ramsey and Ledley play, Ramsey has mixed feelings, there’s a surprise! but I’m not nervous and really looking forward to it, let’s hope for some news today eh! |

Bendtner rejects Hoffenheim
Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is reported to have turned down an approach from Bundesliga leaders Hoffenheim.
The 21-year-old Denmark international has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot with the Gunners and had been earmarked as a replacement for Hoffenheim's injured top scorer Vedad Ibisevic.
However, Bendtner's father and agent, Thomas, told the German media: "Hoffenheim have shown an interest. I know that.
"There are several clubs that call during the period when the transfer window is open.
"It's always like that and we are glad that there is interest for Nicklas, but a transfer is not going to happen at this stage. Nicklas will stay at Arsenal."
Bendtner junior has scored 17 goals in 68 appearances for the Gunners, with more than half of his outings coming as a substitute. |
