These past weeks, have finished three books.. semua pinjam kat CM..

1. After Midnight- Tereisa Medeiros
Menarik jugak cerita ni.. kept me hooked until I knew who the vampire really was.. tapi once the mystry unveiled, dah macam kurang menarik sikit sebab the author seems a bit rushing to wrap up the end nicely... and the hero dah jadi a bit too lovestruck.. tapi apa-apa pun, I like the banter between them.. lepas ni boleh cari lagi buku dari author ni...   

2. Suzanne's Diary for  Nicholas - James Patterson
This is much better than Sam's Letters to Jennifer...

3. The Lady and the Unicorn- Tracy Chevalier
From the author of Girl with pearl earring.. menarik jugak cerita ni.. cerita pasal the making of this tapestry.. complicated rupanya nak buat tapestries ni.. makan masa bertahun-tahun, and every detail design ada maksudnya tersendiri.. every animals, flowers ( millefleur) symbolises something.. baru tahu bunga periwinkle symbolises 'fidelity'... :hatdown:

err...i love books but i hate reading them...
suka beli tp tak suka baca..so i have to do somethign wit myself

the first nvel i started was:

"the last time i saw paris" by elizabeth adler...
mengisahkan serog isteri yg telalu loyal terhadap suaminya sehingga suaminya mempunyai affair dgn perempuan  lain- sanggup membatalkan rancangan mereka utk honeymoonkali ke dua( ketempat yg sama setelah berapa puluh thn kahwin) hny utk bersama perempuan lain...........................

reyne sambung reyne nye review ok, the title of the book is everyone worth knowing ( not everybody worth knowing like i posted previously:kant, the author is Lauren Weisberger same author for the devil wears prada.

Story is about a girl, late twenties who is working in a bank, no love life, no fun, basically no life ler, and then she quit her job and moved to a different kinda job where all the exciting stuff happens, at first it was fun for her, but not until her job needs her to compromise her privacy and her life - fun reading, takyah pening2 kepala, kalakar pun ya gak, a good chic lit for the weekend:love:

In Her Shoes... by Jennifer Weiner

Satu buku yang sangat bagus, nampaknya author dapat menyelami hati adik-beradik (Rose dan Maggie merupakan watak utama di dalam buku ini). Rose merupakn seorang yang tidak cantik, gemuk tetapi berhati mulia, Maggie pula seorang gadis yang cantik, tetapi tidak pandai, mengalami dylexsia

Kesimpulannya: Not everyone is perfect, setiap seorang mesti ada cacat celanya, cuma apabila tersedar cacat cela itu, we should grow up!

A bend in the road...title reminded me of the poem The Road Not Taken...
Nicholas Sparks...think much prefer A Walk To Remeber rather than this...
this is too ordinary somehow...

Just finished another Neil Gaiman's; Neverwhere



to me its a fantastic reading material, but im a bit unsatisfied with the ending.  not because of sloppy writing whatsoever but  of the primary character ie Richard choses.  its a good choice for him but i would love if neil can make a twist ending or something like that. :hmm:

Malunyer....wpun dh lame kat bod nih, br first time gi sinih...ish3...

rae br jer abiskan Nothing Lasts Forever by Sydney Sheldon.

1. plot - takder yang misterinye kat sinih pun. and terlalu typical.psl euthanasia....and die nyer ending is soooooooo predictable...i 've guessed it[right] since the Prologue lagik....

2. characters - kebanyakan characters adalah karakter stereotype. Kat yang 'kecundang' ngan lelaki, pastuh trus buang llk dr hidup dier. Honey - using his sexuality through out life + the fact that she soooowanted to be a nurse, but COULDNT bcoz she was a Taft. Paige - terlalu 'baik' and mulia kononnyer....+ perjumpaan dier ngan Justin......and etc etc etc....tak larat nk citer

3. Overall - for the FIRST book of Sheldon yang rae bacer, buku ni mmg a total letdown. :kant:

tapi, that doesnt mean i'm saying that he's a BAD writer....maybe it's just that this book's not that great...

Sgt best citer Chinese Cinderella nie..baru abis baca last weekend.Sgt sedeyyyyy.....Paling best dpt blajar culture China, sejarah China, tulisan character China, etc..etc....Writing style sungguh interesting!

hari tu terbeli buku Patricia Cornwell yg satire. Tak ingat la tajuk dia psl satu governor yg rabun. OK la not bad. But I still prefer her crime books.

Limau? U suka baca In Her Shoes...?
I dah berminggu baca tak habis2.... tak sampai 1/2 buku pun...... for me, it's not really a page turner. Tapi taktaulah kalau dah tengah2 tu best plak.

Anyway, rite now i'm reading "She's Come Undone" by Wally Lamb......  best best best, dah dekat nak abis.

Ada another book by Wally Lamb "I know This Much Is True". Ada sesapa penah baca? Any review?

in her shoes kan pasal sisters relationship, bagi aku best laa, sebab jenifer weiner dapat memberikan in depth characters kpd watak-watak dalam buku tu..
