this thread is really good one by opening any discussion or something we can share with in written english.hope my english will be better and thus open up my mind to not being shy to write or even speak English in public with my peers and other people in what ever situation because we as human being should have nerve to learn and doing something beneficial in our lives. |

I also want to find a tutor who can check my english essay through email.I know some grammar rules.Nowadays,I rarely practice writing in English.Thus,whenever I go for an interview ,there will be an English essay test, I find myself a little bit blur and hard to find power words to elaborarate in writing.

last year my friends and i went to Australia for vacation. When i was at Sydney International Airport i went to a pharmacy to buy something. Proceed to pay at counter and a lady age around 40 greeting me and we had conversation as below :
she : Would you like a bag?
Me : Yes..
she : Where are you from?
Me : owh..Malaysia. Why?
she : Because you replied YES
Me : ??? - and gave her the money
Me : thanks - and walk away
she : no manners (whispering to her friend)
Did i made any mistake for replied to her 'YES' to get a plastic bag? The same answer i used when i was at Tasmania and no problem at all. |

dexa, yes that what im thinking after i left the shop. maybe i didnt say magical word 'please'. My mistake...wont happen anymore :-)
anyway for me she is working at international airport and she should know that she may get foreign visitors like me and most of them may not good in english (like me). so still it can be forgiven and acceptable, as my friend says the women could be categorize under redneck people.

redneck can be represents as someone from rural area who usually think only them are correct, coz they haven't get opportunity to meet people outside from their neighborhood. so usually they are bit conservative and may think that their culture is same like others. -please correct me if im wrong- |

2. produce juga bley guna mcm ni, contoh:
malaysia wants to produce a poultry vaccine
(kat sini produce tu kira verb ler)
or

by the way, can anyone recommend any website that give us chance to speak in english?i believe the best way to be fluent in english is by practicing and speaking in the language itself.
when i was a student, i enjoyed English class very much.That was the only time that i can speak in english and started to feel confident. that was the only time i believed i can speak in english better. However,it was 2-3 years ago.
Now i'm working and all of my colleagues and friends are Malays.i do not speak in English anymore and don't have the confident and courage like before. |

well, if you can write proper english, you probably can speak proper english too.However, you just lack the confidence.
so even if I provide you website to teach you to speak in english it won't help.
You need to practice speaking with people to gain the confidence.
But if you want to practice speaking, you can try to say along when watching english series.
I know some people who did that |

There is no magic potion to overcome it. You just have to practice. Start speaking in english with your friends. They probably going to think its weird at first but then they will get use to it. |

I think I've came across few websites recently which provide English lesson and allow us to have two-way communication with native English speaker as well. You need to set up your skype account for that. Perhaps you can just google up to find the infos. |
