JuanSoler has denied holding a meeting with potential buyers and insistedthat he has never discussed selling Valencia as rumours abound that heis set to leave.
The club supremo wasreported to be considering leaving and his meeting with a high profilebusinessman and the club's second highest shareholder suggested that hewas putting plans into place.
A year of turmoil on and off thepitch have taken their toll on Soler and the latest case as DavidAlbelda took the club to court was said to have one down very badlywith him.
Despite all the rumours, the president has denied thatthe meeting he held this week with local impresario Juan Villalonga andVicente Soriano was about different things.
"We met to discuss the exploitation of business at the new stadium," he explained.
"This meeting came within the professional relationship that we have all had for some months.
"We were looking at the potential business offers for Valencia and the new stadium in the international market.
"At no point did I try to buy or sell any shares.
"Vicente Soriano was there at the request of Juan Villalonga, who wanted the second highest shareholder be present."
