kat batam/TP ada jual pil utk seasick...tak salah nama pill ni Antimol....dulu masa kecik...my dad soh makan pill ni jadi tak rasa seasick...

da tak makan.....masih bole maintain....kalau naik kapal...myra cuba tido....n avoid sitting dekat ngan apek2...coz some of them dalam kapal pun minum beer n the smell bole buat sakit kepala...:kant:

petai...me favourite...

i bought one big bundle,size macam kepala ronald mcdonald for 20k rupiah.
on the way naik ferri from balai....me kopek petai....(don't know the exact word to use)....it took me 1.5 hours to kopek the petai.my wife tolong buang the skin.

i jalan cari wet market kat balai .....very fun lah tengok benda2 yang we tak nampak in spore.will tell the stories later.

ok.... about the petai,i bought one bundle near the masjid....
and one more bundle at the pasar.one for 20k rupiah ($3.50)


it was worth it....nanti nak makan petai  lunch time...



i bought 2 big bundle.

if i'm not mistaken dulu,chumpon pernah tanya pasal karimun.

ok ferri to tanjung balai is about 1.5 hours and ferry ticket is $38 return.
ferri terminal is at harbour front.

tanjung balai......lepas chop passport...i came out of the building.
i walk the main road.....i think about 2 or 3 km.check the hotel and tanya the rate.hotel are quite cheap, around 100k rupiah sudah boleh dapat one room.hotel asalkan bersih,adaTV and aircon...is ok with me.

i settled for a hotel...in the middle of town.keluar hotel sua ada kedai.
btw,the kedai are the 2 storey kind like in chinatown or serangoon.
banyak burung swallow berterbangan....ada jugak nampak sarang swallow on the ceiling

some of the kedai are just like our provision store back home.lay out like something in the1970's.teringat dulu macam kedai pek dulu.

report makan pulak.....

i had lunch twice at this kedai.the name is....

i reach the place about 10 a.m.   was wondering at the main road and i saw this shop.begedel baru goreng...masih berasap.

ordered

2 ayam
2 rendang
3 begedel
telur burung
sayur
sotong
acar
3 canned drinks


bill was about 64k rupiah   ($12.00)

cheap and good....


THE BEGEDEL IS POWER...size is like our jemput2 pisang in spore.
i bought back 5 to spore...my kids love it.....





kueh mueh is 500 rupiah each. i bought 4 piece kueh bakar for 2k rupiah
...sedap weeiiiii....


ayer tahu...not so sedap....macam cair aje.....

so sorry...me tak ambik gambar....
ni swallow dia terbang tak tinggi sangat.....

dia satu geng hovering macam around 10 storey high....quite noisy...

ada sarang swallow on the ceiling of the kedai....ceiling kedai is about 11 feet from the ground.

sambong cerita nasi padang kat balai.....

ada daun ubi rebus....when i had my lunch...ni daun baru di rebus....

makan time dia warm...sedappppppppppppppp....

i makan 2 pinggan of the daun ubi.....
