Actress Gu Hye Sun recently appeared on the latest episode of tvN’s “Taxi” where she shared her experience of working with YG Entertainment and her 10-year exclusive contract with the agency.

The actress revealed that her decision to sign with YG Entertainment was solely based on trust and thus it didn’t come from any financial incentives.

Gu Hye Sun shared, “I signed on with YG Entertainment believing they knew what was best for me. Our relationship is completely based on trust. Furthermore, I never felt neglected or forgotten by YG Entertainment just because they were an entertainment agency that mainly produced musical artists. In fact, I think it helped me foster a sense of independence and personal growth to be pursuing something different than most of the other YG family members.”

Koo Hye-seon to be recognized at 14th Korea Design Awards

Actress Koo Hye-seon will be recognized for her efforts in her transition from front of the lens to behind at the 14th annual Korea Design Awards ceremony.

The event, to take place in Daegu this year, will give props to Koo and four others with an award from the minister of knowledge economy.

"Koo is being awarded not just for her achievement as an actress but also as a creator of movies", her agency said.

Koo is a multitalented entertainer who dabbles in painting as well as acting and directing.

On Oct. 31 her second feature film as a director, "The Peach Tree" will open nationwide.
