Burger seller lodges report over threats

KUALA LUMPUR: After uploading videos of a chase involving a RapidKL bus, a burger stall operator has reportedly been receiving threats.
Recalling the incident, Muhamad Nur Azri Muhamad Arip, 22, said he had just finished work and gone home to his Colombia flat at Taman Keramat AU2.
“I had just taken a bath when I heard a loud noise. I went to the window to see what had happened and saw that my burger stall had been hit. I could hear my brother screaming.
“I rushed downstairs and saw that my mother had fallen down along with a baby she was holding in her arms.
“My brother told me that the bus driver just drove off after the accident,” he said, adding that he was furious that the bus driver refused to stop.
Muhamad Nur Azri said he immediately gave chase on his motorcycle.
“It was exactly as it was in the videos I posted on Facebook. We kept shouting at the driver to stop the bus, but he just continued and caused so much damage in the process.
“I noticed that people have been alleging on social media that we used sticks and samurai swords to attack the bus driver.
“That is absolutely fake. We did not have any weapons on us,” he said, adding that he had been receiving threats over the incident ever since.
Muhamad Nur Azri also said he was aware that some people were claiming that he had led a mob to take revenge on the bus driver.
“I did no such thing. If the bus driver had just stopped and alighted from the bus after the initial collision, things would not have become so bad.
“Even after the bus driver rammed into all those vehicles at the end, he still tried to run away,” he said.
“I hope justice will prevail in this case.”
Muhamad Nur Azri claimed that the threats he received included one from a RapidKL bus drivers’ group, who said they wanted to confront him at his burger stall and create chaos.
“I have lodged a police report at the Hulu Kelang police station,” he said, adding that he would give the police his full cooperation in the matter.
He also said his mother had complained about body aches due to her fall. |

Ada dengar jugak kt radio td.yg ckp driver tu dh meninggal. Mesti mamat nih skg x blh tido. X pasal2 jd kes bunuh padahal stall kemek sikit je bkn sampai ranap. |
