RUSSELL SIMMONS' estranged wife KIMORA LEE SIMMONS will bare all in a new advertising campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). The model-turned-fashion designer is the latest star to strip off for the animal rights group's cause, following in the footsteps of fellow animal lovers Eva Mendes, Alicia Silverstone and Pamela Anderson. Simmons' appearance forms part of the new Be An Angel for Dogs campaign, which is being led by the organisation's youth branch, peta2. In the poster, Simmons can be seen holding her rescued dog Zoe and wearing nothing but a pair of angel wings, reports AllHipHop.com. PETA's Director of Media Relations, Michael MCGraw, says, "Kimora was a delight to work with, the consummate professional and her compassion for dogs is a big part of her life. "She has rescued numerous dogs off the street and her message is an important one: never leave a dog chained outside. It's important to bring them in and make them members of the family." The campaign, which is due to be launched later this month (Jan08), is set to coincide with the U.S. Unchain a Dog Month.
