Government to implement a new investment incentive framework in 3Q2025.
To ensure resilience of supply chain, the government will introduce:
- Tax cuts for three years for spending of up to RM2 million by multinational enterprises (MNEs)
- Tax cuts for joint investments by MNEs and local suppliers
- Outcome-based tax incentives for local suppliers
- Investment-matching involving over RM100 million via public equity funding platform to grow local suppliers in E&E, speciality chemicals and medical devices
