Mumbai: Bollywood hunk and youth icon Abhishek Bachchan has been signed to endorse Arvind Brands' denim brand -- Flying Machine, the first Indian jeans brand.
The actor who unveiled the autumn-winter collection at the press conference in Mumbai said, 'Flying Machine reflects the pride of India and is a phenomenal example of India's potential at present day. Their designs, quality and value are top notch and that this is done by an Indian Brand is remarkable.'
A young Italian Designer - Chicco, who has been a designer for many internationally successful denim brands, designs the products of Flying Machine.

Mumbai: Bollywood macho man Salman Khan and playback singer Sonu Nigam showed up for the aarti and paid obeisance to the Ganpati idol at Lalbaug, the largest Ganesha idol in Mumbai. Braving heavy showers of rain, chaotic traffic, and a surge of over six lakh devotees, Salman stood patiently in a corner waiting for the prayers to start. The mandal authorities fearing a stampede by the restless crowd started the aarti soon.
Later in the night, Shilpa and Shamita Shetty along with their parents also came to pray to the elephant-God.

Mumbai: The second season of the original reality based dance show format 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa - Dancing With The Stars' is slated to be back on television screens every Friday and Saturday on Sony Entertainment Television. A press meet to brief the media about the show was held at the Grand Hyatt.
This season promises to be even bigger and better and presents an interesting line-up of 12 celebrities paired with professional dancers who will take on the challenge.
Celebrities including the eminent panel of judges Urmila Matondkar, Shaimak Davar and Jeetendra and all the twelve contestants graced the occasion.

Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor launched the music of Imtiaz Ali's 'Jab We Met' on the sets of 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007'. Kareena was taken by surprise when the Zee TV celebrated her birthday on the sets and participants gifted their respective region oriented gifts to her. Amanat Ali hogged the limelight when the actress joined him for the song -- You are my Sonia.
The evening witnessed a lot of excitement with fans going crazy over the gorgeous actress. This episode being Kareena Kapoor special all the contestants sang her songs. Kareena along with the Celebrity Judges unveiled the CDs of her soon to be released film and distributed it amongst the audience and the participants on the show.
