Kimutaku to play Prime Minister in Fuji TV drama

Next season, Fuji TV's Monday night drama will star the ever-popular Takuya Kimura from SMAP. He plays an elementary school teacher who, due to some circumstances, gets involved in the world of politics and eventually becomes the Prime Minister of Japan.
The show, which is currently untitled, is being produced by Hiroyuki Goto. The script is being handled by Yasushi Fukuda, who has written for popular dramas such as "HERO" and "Galileo." Kensaku Sawada ("Saiyuki," "Hero Special") is directing.
Eri Fukatsu co-stars as Kimura's secretary, an ambitious woman aiming to reform the country. She and Kimura last appeared together in the 2002 drama series "Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi."
The drama starts shooting next month and will begin airing in April.

gambo anak2 takuya mmg takde, even paparazzi punya pun blur n jarak jauh...Takuya ni bukannya mcm bintang2 Hollywood, dia n Shizuka mmg protect abis anak2 dia...kalu buleh nak sekolahkan anak2 kat luar Jepun lagi, tmpt org tak kenal dia  |

"Love and Honor" getting U.S. theatrical release

Earlier this month, Variety reported that Eleven Arts and Funimation are teaming up to distribute Yoji Yamada's "Love and Honor" (original title "Bushi no Ichibun") in the United States.
According to Nikkan Sports, the final round of negotiations is in progress. If all goes well, the film will be hitting theaters in major cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Detroit, and Honolulu, starting in April.
"Love and Honor" will be the first feature film starring Takuya Kimura to get a nationwide U.S. release.

"Karei Naru Ichizoku" named Drama of the Year

TVnavi magazine published the results of its Drama of the Year 2007 awards, which were chosen through reader voting. The top prize went to last winter's "Karei Naru Ichizoku," which also won the Best Actor title for Takuya Kimura.
Ryoko Shinohara took Best Actress for "Haken no Hinkaku." She won the same award last year for the 2006 series "Unfair."
Shun Oguri ("Hanazakari no Kimitachi e") and Yui Aragaki ("Papa to Musume no Nanokakan") won Best Supporting Actor and Actress. Best Newcomer was given to KAT-TUN's Junnosuke Taguchi ("Hanayome to Papa") and Mikako Tabe ("Yamada Taro Monogatari").

uwaaaaaaa rindu betul ngan kimutaku-san....
shin memang suke giler kat die ni...tapi only in dorama la...
die nye grup SMAP tu takminat sangat, hehe...satu lagu je suka, tu pun lagu dah lama sket...yang lain tu biase je...
tapi die nye lakonan memang gempaksss...
paling suke GoodLuck..masa tu memang rasa nak pelok2 je kimutaku neh hahaa.. sbb nampak muda gile lam citer tuh...
tapi japanese salu nampak muda drpd age derang...maybe sebab pemakanan derang sume kan very healthy food.. |
