equipment still sama...any sound level meter will do, but yg bagus kalau type I SLM and also logging SLM....

alat sama but reference standard berbeza...utk occupational noise kita refer pada Perat ...

DOE sbnrnya byk adopt requirement dr DOSH...pastu menyusahkan org...sbb die tak byk leh bg guideline kat kita,.especially kepada IKS...paham2 lah dieorg mcmane...yang tau..suh hire consultant...matilah dieorg..untung tak seberapa nak suh hire consultant..

tp utk noise kebanyakan refer FMA....kalo EQA setahu aku noise utk vehicle adalah...huhu...any comment gurl??...kalo kat airport ada special regulation tak utk noise??

maybe yang nih kot....tempat2 tertentu ade noise limit tersendiri yang ditetapkan oleh DOE kot..ye ke gurl?


Section 21. Power to specify conditions of emission, discharge, etc.


The Minister, after consultation with the Council, may by regulations specify the acceptable conditions for
the emission, discharge or deposit of environmentally hazardous substances, pollutants or wastes or the
emission of noise into any area, segment or element of the environment and may set aside any area,
segment or element of the environment within which the emission, discharge or deposit is prohibited or
restricted.

Section 23. Restrictions on noise pollution.
(1) No person shall, unless licensed, emit or cause or permit to be emitted any noise greater in volume,
intensity or quality in contravention of the acceptable conditions specified under section 21.

(2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a fine
not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding five years or to
both and to a further fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit a day for every day that the offence is
continued after a notice by the Director General requiring him to cease the act specified therein has been
served upon him.

anyway,like i told before, yg girl handle tu, BOUNDARY noise...bukan yg workplace noise...

apa la sangat ada bunyi sekitar boundary kami neh

dats y 65dBa tu make sense...

lain la kat work place...orang cakap2 pon dah baper desibel dah

yg utk noise monitoring kat workplace area, girl taktau berapa..sbb rekod girl tak pegang

DOE punyer kat mana yg kata 65dB tu..biar betol 65dB?? kalau 65db sah sume kilang kena saman...normal conevrsation pon dalam 65db gak

utk airport takde special law la....still follow DOSH but measuring dia berbza sikit...

Noise ni terbahagi kepada beberapa frekuensi weightings.... and A, B C dan Linear ... nih sume utk memudahkan kita kira la... profile depa sume berbeza....
untuk DOSH, banyak pakai weightings A sebab  tu unit dalam FMA tu dB(A) ... means measurement dalam A weigthings
kalau utk linear biasa guna simbol z db(Z) atau dB(lin) kengkadang dB aje

A ni lebih kurang frekuensi human ear
B ni x salah aku frekuensi 'telinga' serangga
utk C tinggi lagi...and masa nak measure bunyik yg terlalu bising macam kapal terbang, biasa guna weightings C and unit dia dB(C)

aku pernah gak noise survey kat KLIA..tapi x habis buat

airport tu salah 1 benda yg termasuk dalam industri/projek yang memerlukan EIA....

salunya,bila dapat approval, nanti dia akan kasik skali condition..so refer pd condition tu la...

aku tak keliru tentang boundary noise tu...cuma adakah boudnary noise=environmental noise

utk airport, memang ikut DOSH/FMA standard dari segi PEL dia...
aku pernah nampak report noise assessment kat kapal terbang...
most kapal terbang kalau 'parking' kat tepi air bridge tu (apron area), depa akan pakai auxiliary power supply (APS), sbab requirement kena matikan enjin. APS ni akan keep the air-cond, lampu and back-up power utk system kapal terbang. Bunyi dia memang kuat and berbeza antara plane ke plane.... aku dah lupe beraba noise emmision dia, tapi memang tinggi la... yg bahaya kepada pekerja2 airport tu semasa punggah kargo, and lain2 crew kat luar tu....
memang interesting tapi x sempat nak buat

yg aku confius, hari tu aku borak2 ngan SHO MAS, dia pon terpk, sapa punya tanggungjwab utk buat monitoring or hal2 lain..is it MAS or MAB (Malaysia Airport Berhad), pasal MAB yg own the aiport...mas hanya operator and mas ade gak buat monitoring tapi utk plane MAS dan juga crew MAS....
aku rasa MAB yg lebih berhak..betol ek??

MAS lah....sbb pekerja pun dia punya...kapal pun dia punya.... leh tak mcam tuh...ekekekeekek

ala..tk kira sapa punya..dieorg kena penting kan org sekitar......mcm kat kontan nih...penah aku keje kat meteorlogi office dia...hampeh..tiap kali airforce wat latihan terbang...tiap kali tuh lah gegendang telinga bergegar dengan kuar sekali....ngn office2 bergegar..aiyyooo...sure pacit2 kat situ dah tak berapa nak dgr ckp kuat giler..

aku rasa masih MAB...ni kes occupational noise la...bukan plane yg terbang, tapi plane yg taxi, parking and kat ground la
pekeja situ ramai...pekerja mas ade, pekerja MAB ada

and mengikut OSHA, majikan yg mempunyai kawalan penuh and ikut tafsiran aku adalah MAB...
macam gak kilang, pekeja kontrak yg buat maintenance (contoh aje) masih dibawah kawalan tauke kilang....and pihak kilang bertanggungjawab utk memastikan keselamatan semua org.. Seksyen 17 OSHA

kalau kes tadi, kalau MAS buat memang ok la but utk pekerja MAS sahaja.... but utk overall airport?? for sure MAB kena buat

macam nak masuk shell or petronas punyer plant, kita kena ikut safety briefing, short training etc termasuk ujian dadah/kencing yg semua managed and bound by Petronas/Shell
maknanya pihak pemunya lah yg patut bertanggungjawab..dalam kes ini, aku berpendapatan MAB patut tanggung semua.....

meh kita bincangkan dan throw our inputs
