Hari ni i baca kat NST about financial hierarchy...
What are the five levels in the hierarchy of financial needs, you may wonder? The first in the five-tier pyramid is the cash flow and basic needs that entail our food, housing, utilities and daily expenses. It's the foremost basic need that ensures the fundamentals, including the physiological needs, are covered financially.
The second tier is financial safety, covering insurance and emergency funds to prepare for unforeseen events and risks.
As a safety cushion, emergency funds should cover three months of living expenses in case of an accident, an unexpected health or family issue, or losing a job. The third tier is about accumulating wealth.
At this level, the focus shifts to growing assets for long-term success and longevity. The fourth is about financial freedom, for which long-term care and children's education are found within this category.
These financial needs are linked to esteem needs, such as self-respect and personal accomplishment. The final pinnacle is the legacy.
This entails estate planning, tax planning, and business succession planning, connecting with self-actualisation in Maslow's pyramid.
The reality is that many of us can't achieve all the five tiers. It's good enough if we can manage efficient cash flow to cover our basic needs although it'd be a worthwhile experience for all of us to learn financial planning on any given situation. |

Bleh baca mana2 fatwa.... kalo syubhah, u bleh cari other investment instrument.... tiada paksaa ...
Hi greentea,
I ada beberapa soalan.
1. Awal2 thread u ada bgtau sebelum ni u xmasuk asb sbb terpengaruh pasal syubhah. Apa yg sebabkan u saving jugak dalam asb? Sbb i sampai sekarang berbolak balik isu syubhah ni, tu sbb x buat saving kat asb ni, just TH je.
2. U cakap loan asb as leveraging tool. Say i xde problem nak byr bulan2. Boleh tolong ajar mcm mana yg dikata guna loan asb boleh increase limit saving tu? If i nak ambik loan 200k, patut buat short term loan ke long term loan?
3. If sebenarnya i boleh je saving 200k in 5 years without buat loan, better buat loan asb ke atau saving normal?
Tq so much sbb share byk idea dalam thread ni ye. |

Iols simpan utk anak2 punya saving dlm asb...tapi tgk sspn~i....uols rasa mana lebih baik?sspni or asb?apa beza simpanan utk sspni n asb? |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
answering question 2 and 3, i cuba analyze ASB dengan u saving 36k setahun selama 5 tahun vs amek loan ASB 200k, and langsaikan secepat mungkin... so nampak tak dalam table bawah ni.. at year-20 banyak kan beza baki ASB between ASB financing and Cash,... dengan syarat, u tak pernah usik dividen... we use ASB financing as leveraging tool utk increase ASB limit sejak Year 1

SSPN ada income tax exemption.... tu je... and dividend dia competitive jugak vs ASB....
so i would choose SSPN carum bulan2, up to limit claim RM8k per year per one parent.. and some money (duit raya etc) masuk ASB..
I skang carum rm300 per month masuk sspn-i plus for my son... so dah 3600 setahun.... nnti ada rezeki utk adik dia ni i akan start carum rm300 sebulan jugak skim sspn-i plus.... balance tu asb lah.... |

so ...
Tu la iols baru tfikir...sbb klu combine 3(anak 2 +iols ) kira dah blh mkn dividen je utk asb....dah blh fokus simpan utk anak utk kos study masa depan tp tu la.mcm dah silap percaturan pula. |

its okay.. never too late to start anything... sspn tu bleh income tax exemption RM8000 per parent yang bekerja.. sbb i max dua orang anak je.. thats why i amek pakej sspn-i plus RM3600 utk seorang anak... u bleh pilih2 la samada nak sspn atau sspn-i plus.. i amek yang ada PLUS tu sbb ada takaful sikit dalam tu

Tq so much ye for ur explanation.
Sorry ye green, tak berapa faham table ni.
Rujuk kepada yg bahagian asb loan, tahun 0 = 200,000 and tahun 1=210,000.
1.Perbezaan rm10,000 ni adalah dividen ke? Dengan assumption dividen 5%?
2. Macam mana dengan interest pulak? Adakah rm10,000 ni dah tolak/ambil kira interest? If interest semasa ~4%, masih berbaloi ke kalau ambil asb loan?
3. Untuk zakat kira tahun 2 dah kena bayar zakat la kan?
Sorry ye tanya banyak2 ni, i dah lama baca online tapi susah nak faham. |

akhirnya i berjaya tambah satu lagi tabungan untuk retirement
i buka akaun private retirement scheme (PRS)
itu pun selepas berkali2 dengar few officemates sebut
and since dapat tax relief, maka untuk i yang single, tiada apa nak ditolak dalam e-filing tu
amatlah lega mendengar
i register baru je few weeks ago
dan dalam tempoh sama
paksa diri add in duit dah 2 kali
now i dah ada tabungan TH, ASB dan PRS untuk retirement
so far i consistent menambah tabungan monthly
tanah tapak rumah pun da ada di kampung
walaupun tidak besar
tapi cukup lah kalau nk jual balik
buat belanja di kala terdesak
bangga dengan pencapaian diri sendiri
seronok baca thread ni
walaupun bab investment i sangat la blur
dan masih tidak faham2

Bila politic tak stabil.. ape je proposal or strategic intiiatives yang boleh sanction? Rancangan malaysia ke, akta apa pun tak boleh nak properly bentang and gets approval to implement.. and zaman sekarang all FDI dah start keluar and focus on their respective countries' self-sustainability... so for now.. i would focus on low risk investment like PNB's funds... |
