INDIAN WELLS: Maria Sharapova obliterated fellow Russian Elena Dementieva to win the Pacific Life Open on Saturday while James Blake shocked world number two Rafael Nadal to set up a men's final against Roger Federer.
Third seed Sharapova strolled to a 6-1, 6-2 victory in her 13th career final to pick up her first title since Birmingham last June.

Ya...did see the tail end of the repeat late last night. Speaks mountain of the total domination of this guy in the sport. He is so far adead. It seems to be the character of men's tennis. Not sure whether this is good for the sport. Already I found too many service games that tend to cut off much of the beauty of the game.
The ladies is more open ...now that the Williams are not so dominant any more. Somehow the attraction has also faded a bit with that...
Ow..sorry to rattle on...Just how I feel...that's all.

No problem dude, but I think Nadal can match this guy. Its too bad that Nadal lost to Blake in the semifinal. That's Nadal back to back lost to James Blake, the first one was at US Open 4th round last year.
We'll see how the draws at this week Nasdaq 100 Open at miami, hopefully Blake will not be in Nadal's draw coz i love to see Federer and Nadal final.
as for WTA tour, any one in the top 10 can win the big title, as long as they are fit and healthy. I hope that Sharapova can maintain her fitness and her confidence so that she can go far in the week Nasdaq Open. Last year she lost to the resurgence Kim Clijsters. This week Nasdaq Open will field 9/10 current top 10 players, so its pretty exciting who will win it.. |

tennis is very costy game.tu sebab tak ramai orang malaysia(especially melayu) main game ni.MF lucky gile bapak MF memang main tenis dulu.so takyah susah2 beli raket.raket yg sedia ada tu diwariskan terus.and kebetulan memang ade kelab tenis khas.so MF slalu praktis ngan bapak den.cost..cuma RM12 sebulan.no limit |

yeah... its wierd that eventhough Nadal lost to Blake at the Indian Wells Series... I still think that his chances of hurting federer is even higher than blakes.
what I mean is when blake when into the final i know that he will NEVER going to win that match against federer... But if Nadal went to the final... I'm expecting a very ecxiting matches and federer might even lose. |

too bad that nadal lost to his mentor, Carlos moya early this week in the Nasdaq Open..
Federer is still in the draw and few big names are still lurking in the other half of the draw...
since there's no Nadal, i would rate David Nalbandian as the only guy that could could derail Federer from winning the championship this week...
as for the ladies,i would like to see maria beat Mauresmo in the final, that if maria and mauresmo beat their opponents..
