Always Ready (隨時候命) is a drama by Hong Kong television station Television Broadcasts Limited. The story is centered around the Government Flying Service (Hong Kong), which is responsible for search and rescue (SAR), air ambulance, firefighting and assisting in police operations.
Cast
PlotEkin Chengplays the role of an aircrewman officer named Matthew Ko. Matthew has afriend who is a pilot at the Government Flying Service(GFS) namedBenjamin Yip (Played by Bowie Lam). Matthew has a girlfriend who has been in a coma for three years and her name is Carrie Hong (Played by Charmaine Sheh).They both come back together after Carrie Hong receives a coma, butCarrie decides to break up because that Carrie needs a perfectboyfriend and they break up. After Matthew's Student, who is Sandra,falls in love with him. But after a while Sandra's father, who leftSandra alone in a park when she was very young, returns and lives nextto Mathew Ko, whose house is right beside Sandra's house. She doesn'tknow this until one day Matthew Ko, takes her to the beach and tellsher that her father lives beside her. He leaves thinking that this is agood idea. But when Sandra is left alone with her father, she startsquestioning him about where he was, and becomes angry.
But in the meantime Ben Sir in his work on his airplane with studentwho is Kelvin, when flying back to GFS their helicopter is hit whenflying over an illegal gas station, an explosion after a man drops alit cigarette on some spilled gas. An explosino occurs and an oil tankhits the helicopter's rotor blades and the helicopter takes a fastdescend into a lake. An overnight rescue occurs in the search for Ben.All the other crew men are saved and are okay. The overnight searchfails to find Ben. When the Chief Officer says to call it a night, allthe remaining crewmen decline, but because of the strong mist, he fearsthat another aircraft could be lost, so he calls that at 3:30 am thenext day that the search continues. When the crew find Ben in themorning, Ben is rushed to hospital, where Carrie works. Jacky, Ben'sson comes with Nikki, who is a handicap. Nicky is a handicap to showthat anyone can work for the GFS. When Jacky arrives, he sees hisfather unconscious. When Carrie uses the defibrillator on Ben, his sonJacky sees it and his heart becomes unstable and is afraid of airplanes.
Ben retires so his son is comforted. In the last episode his oldcolleagues are called up during a barbecue for a big mission. He looksup and his son ask if he wants to be happy. He replies that he is notafraid and lets him take on the mission. His airplane nearly crashesbut is successful. |

Finally!!!!This year, we got a series with MANY deaths! (I am not counting HealingHands 3). And, each death factor was important. The most pitiful one isMoses' father, he had the chance to make up to his kids, but hisbrother is just too evil and he just couldn't take it anymore... It wasalso the saddest death factor of the series. The most shocking one wasMichael Tong, I really didn't want him to die! But, when Anne walksinto his room, I just knew he won't live long. sigh... The mostexpected one is Anne's husband of course, if he doesn't die, Anne won'tgo crazy. Another expected one was Kiki's son: Ngo Ka Nin. He has todie because his parents are too evil. The one dies too fast is AnneHeung, how can she just tells everyone every bad things she did, andthen, jumps into a river? That is way too fast!

aku pun rasa mcm cepat endingnya...memang ntv7 potong...part yao yip peluk2 yi fong xde pun
