lg 1, mknan tinggi lemak n tinggi gula which one lead to obesity..maksudnye yg lbh cepat

dua dua lead to obesity; lemak adalah storage utk energy. apa apa saja yg u makan, if ada extra, akan di convert jadi lemak utk disimpan. lemak is very efficient for this purpose. if u faham bichemistry of adipocity and energy metabolism, you will be amazed. other animals uses fat too to store energy eg mammals etc. Other organism uses different material, eg plants and their fruits and chlorophylls, bacteria, fungi, protozoans all use different mechanism.

fat, eg cream, cakes, oily masakan tuh etc etc: lebih cepat menggemukkan badan

mana mana yg cepat lost weight tu, quite likely akan naik balik.
ada satu factor, its the rate of metabolism; if seseorang tu memang tinggi rate dia, maka dia susah skit nak naik badan; if naik pon, senang je dia turunkan. org yg macam ini beruntung lah, tapi tak semestinya dia bleh makan apa apa je... makan cholesterol tinggi nanti, dapat la heart attack dan stroke jugak; takde pengecualian.

jugak, if seseorang tu dah barkan diri dia jadi obese for sometimes, maka utk turun balik memang susah dan yg boleh turun dan maintainkan, hanya lah sedikit. sebagai doctor di eropah, kita kata pada pt yg obese, if u dapat turunkan 10% dan maintain this for 1-2years, tu dah kira success yg amat besar.

dr , saya ada soalan lagi tapi tak tahu berkaitan atau tak dengan obes.

saya baru je masuk 30thn.. tapi saya ada masalah tulang lutut berbunyi bila saya nak squad dia akan bunyi tapi bila bangun dia tak bunyi. kalau kata sakit ke tak. dia tak sakit.. tapi kadang2 ada rasa sakit tu. tapi jarang skali.

apa perlu saya buat? saya tak nak umo meningkat, lutut terus jem.. huhuhu..

ouh ya, info: saya sangat aktif, bersukan berjalan . saya pre obes BMI 30 dan saya perempuan

i pun ada masalah yang sama... bila buat leg workout terutama squad, lutu berbunyi.. tapi so far alhamdulillah, xde rasa sakit.. my PT advise supaya i buat squad cukup sampai certain level.. elakkan sampai lutut berbunyi.. tak elok untuk jangka masa panjang.. maybe doc @ipes2 leh tolong jawap..

pernah ada trauma to that knee tak?
also, kadang kadang, maybe ada torn cartilage, a piece of bone ke yg pecah etc
kekadang ada loose foreign body dalam knee ni, depa panggil osteochondritis dessicans.. penah la masa muda muda I tolong seniors carikan benda benda gini using athroscopy

penah knee u lock? if so ada la torn cartilage

first investigation is xray, next if tak sure we would normally do MRI.

lutut berbunyi, mcm grittiness tapi tak sakit, maybe tanda awal that in the future bleh dapat osteoarthritis..
so, jaga badan; fish oil semua tu very useful.
also, jgn la buat lebih sgt exercise yg bleh reduce longevity of joints

memang i elakkan heavy preasure kat area situ.. dari segi pemakanan pulak macam mana doc? selain banyakkan fish oil, ada lagi tak sumber lain yang boleh membantu?

masa kecik2 dulu saya memang selalu jatuh, penah sekali jatuh dari pokok, memang luka lutut tapi tak ingat lutut yang mana.

knee lock maksud doktor apa? tiba2 tak ley nak bengkok kan  lutut ke? buat masa ni tak penah lagi.

untuk make surekan dia dengan xray, saya perlu rujuk pada fisioterapi terus atau macam mana? actually saya skang keja dengan KKM tapi ofis department la, banyak doktor dekat sini, apa yang boleh saya tanya dan minta rujukan dari diorang?

memang i elakkan heavy preasure kat area ...

for some reason, osteoarthritis (OA) ni can run in the family.
susah nak elak atau bentuk dari segi pemakanan, sebab factor lain lagi kuat.
contoh, footballers dan rugby players memang kejap je bleh dapat OA.

jadi, prevention is better in this area; eg watch your weight, jangan merokok, jgn selalu angkat benda berat.
overall, semua org one day akan dapat OA ni sebab wear and tear of the joint surfaces (ie nak tak nak, we all kene guna joints ni semua).
so, bagi kami doctors di  eropah, byk advertisement pasal ubat atau minyak urut yg boleh "cure" OA etc etc ni memang tak tepat langsung.
kalau hips kene OA, all this minyak atau tukang urut tak bleh buat apa apa pon yg boleh mengubah lapisan cartilage dalam joints tadi.

cuma, kita dalam our own minds akan rasa sedikit lega and happier that kita dah pakai minyak urut dan pergi berurut.

lock-knee ni bila u takleh bengkok kan knee u.. it is "locked" in a certain  position and often enough u will have to go to the emergency department to be given painkillers and then the doctors will be able to manoeuvre your knees to unlock it.

investigations of any joints especially the knee will start with xray first then MRI. occasionally CT scan can be useful, tapi jarang in cases of joints.

if keje dgn KKM, soh la PT tgk jap; depa normally have good experience in dealing with these issues

hyperdrosis je kot.
some weight can be lost thru berpeluh; eg if peluh 1 litre, wt loss is 1 kg.
tapi, most likely we will replace this again.
cosntitutional fluid loss a day in the body is quite significant, eg even if u tak minum air 24hrs, your kidney will expel 400mls (0.4kg) thru urine production, mainly from water produce by cellular metabolism.

jadi, peluh tak help turunkan berat badan.

Oooh ye ke..nak tny sy joging hny dgn berjalan...nak lari takut..malu..yerlah say besar dkt punggung.risau org tgk...boleh x kalau sy joging hny dgn berjllan?

walking is walking
big difference antara dua tu

antara isu paling utama yang menghalang org yg overweight atau obese dari exercise is perception orang
most obese persons akan rasa embarrassed utk exercise

patients rata rata akan kata bila depa jalan tepi jalan pon org dok sok sek sok sek ngutuk.

dear doc @ipes2, saya baru jumpa thread ni and nak tanya,hope you dont mind sebab tak related to obesity.
berat saya around 58kg and i hardly exercise.tapi since tukar keje 8 months ago,i walk a lot from carpark to lrt station and to lrt station to my office.pergi balik dalam 30 minit brisk walking.calorie intake sama je dari dulu.
tapi kenapa takde weight loss ye?or ada tapi saya tak perasan sebab saya guna scale murahan je.

Akik,
berat Akik 58kg tu dah abgus dah tu. jgn kurangkan lagi. maintain aje lah.
also brisk walk 30mins for 5 days a week is for weight maintenance.
teruskan saja, sebab activity ini sgt baik utk general health and wellbeing.

jika Akik seoarng wanita, dan jika pregnant, selepas pregnancy itu akan ada beberapa kilo yg memang sukar utk dibuang, jadi elok lah kalau maintain berat sekarang.

In any case, hypothalamus kita dalam brain kita akan ada setpoint dia, dimana di tahap itulah dia memorize weight kita.
dia akan cuba halang kita dari hilang dibawah dari berat ini

doc, saya pernah reduce weight sbyk 25kg dlm tempoh 8 bulan dgn threadmill dan guna video dan jaga pemakanan..dari 80kg kpd 55kg..cuma saya perasan, rambut saya makin cepat gugur? ada kaitan tak dgn pemakanan saya..contohnya if saya bersenam, saya sepatutnya makan extraaa protein utk badan dan rambut

alhamdulillah bagus tu tiramisu.
well done
tapi cukup, dont lose anymore. 55kg tu dah bagus la sgt sgt.
mkn 3 kali sari; byk kan sayur.
exercise utk maintain health je jgn buat utk kurus kan bdn sebab nanti ada rebound nauzubillah.

rambut gugur, dan berat turun byk.. check tak TFT?
