[News] Documentary - “Welcome to Wonderland”, Reveal of their attractive bare faces
Production of Wonder Girls’ documentary, “Welcome to Wonderland” is drawing the attention of fans.
Mnet cable music channel will reveal the journey of Wonder Girls’ February concert in Thailand, including the performance in LA, the one day concert in Busan and also the 28th Seoul Concert with a documentary titled “Welcome to Wonderland”.
The meetings, dance choreographies and production etc. for the upcoming overseas performances in which JYP and the Wonder Girls will be participating in, will be shown in this documentary. It is a plan to reveal through the camera the whole process from the preparation of the concerts, to everything on the stage.
“Welcome to Wonderland” is a big revealing plan made in the form of combining reality and documentary to show the little things in the daily lives of the members, their faces without make-up and their natural and even more attractive life outside of the stage.
PD Shin Chun Ji of “Welcome to Wonderland” said: “Compared to the shine they have on stage, this is an opportunity to find out how many times more attractive the girls actually are”. “I hope to witness directly through my eyes the reason why Wonder Girls came to be the best girl group.” he expressed his thoughts.
The first broadcast of “Welcome to Wonderland” will be on 6th of March at 6pm.
JYP and the Wonder Girls held a press conference on March 3rd at 2 PM at the Americana at Brand in Glendale, California for the local media and allkpop was there! We took a lot of photos from the event, you can see them at the bottom of this article!
It was a gorgeous sunny day and there抯 nothing better than to ditch work, go to the best mall in Southern California and be a part ofWonder Girl history. The girls were brought on stage and they looked absolutely stunning in their matching white sequin dresses! JYP even pulled out the chairs and helped the girls get seated and situated before the conference started.
JYP opened with a short statement of thanks to the sponsors and the venue. He said it was really exciting to be launching the three city concerts here in the US. This is their second US tour and this time it抯 a little different because the girls are an equal part of the concert, whereas before they were guests on the JYP Tour.
SunYe said that she was very glad to be here,happy with the finish of the Thailand performance and looking forward to their three US performances. They all worked especially hard to prepare for the US tour and this will lead the way into their eventual entrance into the American market.
During the Q and A session, I asked if they planned on performing some of the previous songs such as Tell Me and Nobody in English for the US concerts. JYP said yes, in fact at the concert, it抣l be the first time they抮e singing the English version of Nobodyand that they were planning to launch the English versions of their songs in the very near future. He also hopes to eventually enter into world tours wherever there are Wonder Girl fans.
When asked about their visits to LA, JYP said, 揫i]To me LA, since I抦 a workaholic, it抯 a city of television and film. So when I come to LA all I can think of is Nickelodeon, Disney, ABC Family.
