Arsene Wenger Upbeat Over Arsenal's Tomas Rosicky
TheArsenal boss is tipping the Czech playmaker to be "the good surprise ofthe season" as his return from injury seemingly nears...

Arsenal manager ArseneWenger has been the bearer of some good news today regarding the injurysituation at the Emirates Stadium.

Czech attacker Tomas Rosicky,whose severe hamstring injury has kept him out of the game for over ayear, recently resumed training, and his eventual return could now beas little as "six or seven weeks" away.

That will come as goodnews for everyone at Arsenal, who must have worried at times as towhether the fresh-faced playmaker would ever appear in the famous redand white shirt again, especially as there were reportedly some'psychological issues' as the player struggled to come to terms withhis lengthy spell of inactivity.

But now his manager thinks that he will be back in action very soon.

"I just left him. He is working on the pitch," the Frenchman told Arsenal's official website earlier.

"He has touched the ball for the first time this week and we are quite positive about him, maybe more than he is.

"He could be the good surprise of the season because in six or seven weeks he has a chance to be back."

Bythen, of course, it is expected that Andrey Arshavin will have made apositive impact on the Arsenal team, and the prospect of the Russianand the Czech in the same line-up is surely a combination that willmake mouths water in north London and across the world.

Wenger: Nasri and Arshavin will do damage

Manager Ars鑞e Wenger says that his creative players - Samir Nasri and Andrey Arshavin - are versatile enough to cause damage from anywhere on the pitch.

Both players are attacking midfield players and will want to play in the middle, but with the return of Tomas Rosicky and Francesc Fabregas, the only positions available to them will be the wings.

Wengersaid: "If you ask Arshavin or Nasri where they want to play, they willsay the middle because all the technically gifted players want to playin the centre.

"I believe Arshavin can play on the right, behind the strikers or on the left - and Nasri as well. "Nasriis one of the players who have played beyond my expectations this year.He is new, he is very young, just 21, and came from Marseille to asnowy winter in England. He has adapted very well.

"He scoresless in the last two months, but I see in training he has really made ahuge improvement and is really strong. There is still much more to comeout from him and I am very happy."
