Siti Nurhaliza to perform at 1Borneo Posted on December 15, 2011, Thursday
KOTA KINABALU: Malaysia’s number one diva, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, will be performing at the Era Sayang Sabah Concert on December 17, at Gourmet Lane, 1Borneo Hypermall here.
Her special appearance is in conjunction with Era FM Kota Kinabalu’s first anniversary, which was yesterday.
“I really miss my fans in Sabah; hopefully I can give the best to Era FM listeners.
“I will be performing three to four songs, depending on the mood of the crowd, including my latest song, ‘Falling In Love’, one of the songs in my latest album,” Siti said to reporters during an online press conference via Skype at AMP Radio Networks conference hall yesterday.
She said her last visit to Sabah was early last year for a holiday with her family, and hoped her trip this weekend would bring something to her fans in the state.
According to AMP Radio Networks’ operations manager DJ Uno, the concert on Saturday would be sponsored by Sazarice, while 1Borneo Hypermall, The Palace Hotel and G-cut are the co-sponsors.
“Entrance is free and apart from Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, among the artists performing that night are Estrange, The Aries, Frontman Company, HWC and Janrywine J. Lusin.
“Era FM KK is running a special on-air contest for the listeners where they can win VIP tickets to be up and close to the artists while they are performing,” he said, adding that to win, one simply have to listen to Era KK at 102.fm from 10am to 8pm weekdays.
Uno added that the concert would be hosted by Era FM KK announcers Ily, JJ and Beebey.
Prior to the final concert, Era FM KK was on the road hitting two locations, Papar and Putatan, where the station’s loyal listeners were entertained by Lena AF9, Nera AF9, The Ariez and Janrywine J Lusin.
