Real Madrid lining up £70m bid for Liverpool star Luis Suarez [The Sun]
Luis Suarez was last night awarded the PFA Player of the Year award after scoring 30 Premier League goals in a terrific season.
The Liverpool striker almost left last summer but manager Brendan Rodgers forced him to stay
Staying has hugely benefited both parties, with Liverpool mounting a shock title challenge and Luis Suarez producing his best season ever.
According to tomorrow’s Sun Sport, Liverpool are going to have to fight off interest from Real Madrid.
The newspaper claims Real Madrid are willing to offer £70m to acquire the services of the star striker.
Real Madrid reportedly believe a £70m bid will trigger a clause in Suarez’s contract.
