An article by Shahrom TM Sulaiman a lecturer from UITM in today抯 paper on the 2003 World抯 bestseller novels taken from Amazon.Com by the 10 biggest media with the most readable segments like Boston Globe, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, LA Times, Publisher Weekly and Christian Science Monitor and combined with the Booklist homepage on sale from several continents including Asia:

1. Namesake
        By young Indian author, Jhumpa Lahiri described by NY Times as the BOOK of The Year, awarded Pulitzer and Hemingway award.
           About Gogol Ganguli, a student trapped in his cultured identity, half Indian and American.
           NY times with Publishers weekly and Booklist described this book as strong in its plot, spicing comedy with tragedy.

2. The Secret Life Bee
          By Sue Monk Kidd about a psychologically repressed girl, Lily Owen left by her father since she was little. She was raised by her mother pictured as Black Madonna. Unfortunately her mother was accidentally shot by her while playing with firearm. Lily was remorseful and search her mother identity who is actually a black. This novel with its South Carolina region in the 60s was perceived by the lit. crit. as an epic portraying race conflicts.

3. The Da vinci Code
       Novel by Brown telling about the killing of The Lovre Museum Director, France at its balcony. The accused are a Harvard lecturer and a secret code reader. Both have to prove they抮e innocent. Investigation led them to the findings of 2000 secret code hidden behind a painting.

4. To The Nines
        The 9th book from Stephanie Blum series by Janet Evanovich written with easy, flowy style and common normal romance theme. These series are popular and captivating readers. Entertainment Weekly and Wall Street Journal put this novel as 搕he most read book inUSA

Aku cuma minat Jhumpa Lahiri... tu pun sebab dia kiut chik... yang lain, terutamanya tulisan Mitch Albom, aku rasa mendorong orang yang berpengetahuan untuk terjun ke dalam lombong... kesimpulan dari senarai buku ini ialah, tiada siapa suka akan haute cuisine...semua nak makan mee maggie cepat dimasak sedap dimakan (sedap ke?)

tak baca lagi buku Mitch ALbon nin....

tapi tengok film Tuesdays with Morrie....tu touching...

mitch albon aku baca tuesdays with morrie...aku rasa ok la...

life with pi aku ada pinjam buku dia....so dalam senarai menunggu untuk dibaca....la ni aku dalam proses nak membeli devil wears prada....tgk sinopsis macam best sebab sebelum keluar senarai ni aku dah tgk kat MPH....nampak macam best...so bila senarai dah kuar aku ada alasan kukuh untuk membeli...
